I'm back. This now feels like the end. The first version (from the animation) feels like the story is not over, because of how the song ends with that chord, and there's something left to come. This version instead feels like someone feels guilty about something they did to a loved one, then they think there are some hope yet, and they try to fix the situation, but in the end they realize the damage is done... So there's no turn back... And like that, that final chord feels different, like... "You gotta live with it". I'm back again. As a second thought, I feel this sensation of "You gotta let go and move on". Yo! Where did that come from!? 👇

I know this song is probably more about a relationship falling apart but I cant help but cry each time due to the fact that this song resonates so much with my life and what its felt like coming out of depression after living and almost dying with it for at least 10 years of my life. At 21 years old after so many close calls and a loss of hope I finally was able to mostly climb my way out but sometimes I sit realizing half of my life so far is a complete and utter blur of pain, I look at it and wish I could have done something different, not wasted away those years yet instead I sit here with memories I cant recall and I also have to tell myself I haven't lost it all, that there is more to do. But life feels so short and its still painful to think about. However, thank you for putting these feelings into words. I know you probably didn't mean to but even still, this helped me find myself and become more at piece with these emotions.

Thank you genuinely. This song is currently getting me through the rapid decline of my 18 year old cat. I've had her for almost 8 years, I got her when i was 10 (we got her in fall or spring i think). She feels like part of me and I don't know what I'm going to do without her.
