Interesting, just one question- wouldn’t eye protection be a good idea? (I’m so accident prone, one of those lights would whack me in the eyeball)
@NicoleLoveDivineraver4 жыл бұрын
Yes!! Eye protection is a great idea! I still get fiber in my eye from time to time and that and the handle can be super painful. Clear ballistic eye pro is the best so it sweeps all the way around your eyes.

You can wear it, but I've hit myself in the eyes multiple times and for some reason I still have most of my vision so it's not as bad as you'd think and your reflexes to shut your eyes can be better than you'd think as well. That being said, wear glasses or goggles with clear frames and you can go nuts without fear.

This expressive style has caught my eye damn! But my question is that the whip can give those tiny little whip whack? Especially with such light weight optic fibres?
@NicoleLoveDivineraver4 жыл бұрын
There is some whiplash but not too bad. Always recommend covering the arms, legs and eyes with something protective. Also the sleeves and pants makes the whip glide easier. I am so glad you loved my flow though! Thank you for watching! 💗

Just how hard is it to learn how to dance with a pixelwhip? It'd looks so beautiful
@NicoleLoveDivineraver4 жыл бұрын
It's actually pretty easy because it holds no shape! You can do anything you imagine with it! I have a 30 day whip challenge that teaches you a lot of beginner moves and an online course at www.propdanceculture.com/shop/flow-with-love that teaches you everything you need to know about fiber wielding! 💗😁 Plus there is online FB communities like Peace, Love & Light Whips where people are so helpful in teaching and sharing techniques as well as supporting you along your journey. It's a wonderful world to get involved in. 💗

Mine aren’t flowing like when I first got them? I heard something about a lubricant?! I think that and it’s sticky from my son finding his new favorite toy!! 😂🙏🏽❤️ I have extra fiber parts but does that mean I should just change them?

I taught myself mainly, but I did join a few FB communities and watched other people flow with various different props and tried to mimic the movement or shape with the whip. When I first started, there wasn't a lot of tutorials out there for whip. Now, there are so many awesome artists making content you honestly can't go wrong. The light whip communities definately have some really amazing people in there and I highly recommend joining for inspiration and to see member tutorials. Here are the top 2 Light whip communities on FB: 😀 Peace, Love & Light Whips Dancing With Lightning

Not really a fan of this style.. you’re using it more like a poi I mean whatever If it’s fun just not very aesthetically pleasing for my taste
@NicoleLoveDivineraver2 жыл бұрын
The light whip is greatly universal and can take any shape. Inspiration can be pulled for moves from poi, staff, levi wand, hoop and even orbit if you are creative. ;) The greatest idea is limitless possibilities. However, if you don't like individual expression and prefer structured traditional flow then it may not be the flow prop for you. It's funny you say this though as many moves across props are pulled from inspiration from other traditional props modified for any new prop... so regardless POI moves will be used across many platforms and visually look different across different props even though the movement to achieve the move is the same. Examples of this... weaves (2 beat and 3 beat), isolations, flowers and more... replicate across poi, hoop, whip, and much more.
