She was also very open about being a proud Christian back in the day. People see her new music and say she all different and corrupt. She's and entertainer if her music stayed the same over a span of like 15 years no one would listen not matter how good her vocals. We don't know her life, we can't brand what she believes. I don't believe she lost faith, in this video she got lost in the music like she's been wanting to sing this for a while, and to open up. I'm not really too religious, but this was the most beautiful thing, watching the three of them connect and be in that moment together.

Gospel is Michelle's genre. She was forced to audition for Destiny's Child by a choreographer friend who had worked for the Team. He had assured her that she was not what DC was looking for, but auditioning for them would get her exposure, but she ended up being the one picked. Reason her outfits used to be more modest & performing with Destiny's child was not a natural for her because that's not the kind of artist that she is. In this performance she was in her element and her confidence and passion shone through!
