1.Fold ur hand like u hold a tenis ball ...take ur time In starting it happens but after that its easy 2. Hit the string with less strength...or use a capo to make ukulele sound thiner

I got my ukulele just a day ago and tuned it using the pocket ukulele tuner app. The G-string keeps going out of tune after every 5 min of playing. Is something wrong with the strings? Should I get it replaced? I got it from Amazon. It's a Kadence Concert ukulele.

Practice with someone else..It will help I think.. I had the same problem then I practiced with my sister (she sung) and now I can strum and sing it's just a mental thing I guess. All the best🙏

Might not be a relevant comment, I m making this comment with my guitar expertise. Always, strum and sing along with the trigger points i.e where you change the chords first. Know the trigger points, strum n sing practice then add few more strums n steps. Over a period of tym you will find the coordination.
