The music of the Bati was partly derived from the piece of José Martínez Toboso entitled "Viva la Pilarica (gran jota Aragonesa). Toboso was a Valencian classical guitarist in Spain.

The music was composed and arranged by a native of La Huerta, Paranaque, Francisco Rodriguez also known as "Ka Prisko." He was also responsible for the traditional tunes of Hosannah sung on Palm Sunday and Regina Coeli that is sung for the Salubong on Easter Sunday.

Almost all women who grew up in Paranaque would say that they have danced the “Sayaw ng Pagbati “ when they were little girls (though the dance group could be a mixed boys and girls group).

@@_hcpenot It supposed to be, Caracol/Karakol starts to Patron's Himno. if theres no patron's himno the'y start it with “Sayaw Pagbati” after of celebrations this will ended to the same music or to patron's himno to venerate it.

I want to know when the sayaw Ng pagbati start
@beeoneder67992 жыл бұрын
The sayaw ng pagbati starts in the early morning of Easter Sunday . It could continue throughout the whole morning and these young children dance along the streets of Paranaque.

Although no record exists as to when the tradition of the "Bati" actually started in Paranaque, it is widely believed by the elders of the town that it began around the turn of the century.
