As a Mexican American who grew up in Orange County, California in the late 90’s and early 2000’s. I didn’t really have much of an opinion of African American people, good or bad because there was not much a community in OC back then. The little I did know about them was what I saw on tv or what I would hear the rappers talk about on the radio which was gangs/poverty. It wasn’t until recently as an adult that I moved to LA that I started interacting with them and I can say that my view is not far from what Charleston said. I think entitled would be the first thing that comes to mind, loud would be the second, and inconsiderate. This is only my opinion of what I’ve seen/encountered and also have to say that it only applies to me the younger generation of AA’s the older generation is not the same, they are a lot more understanding and polite.

Ok! We are all entitled to our opinion. And we all have freedom of speech. And I am coming from an African American background. I too, have lived and was station. In San Diego, CA. How can you make that statement! Saying Black people, are loud and inconsiderate. You stated that you are a mexican. So, when did mexican’s start (NOT) being loud and inconsiderate?!😂 you have to be kidding me. Charleston White say those statements loosely. Because, he is Black! And whatever makes money. It’s prevalent, that his kind of thinking is going to run with it. But, it’s only to compensate him! But, for you being a mexican. Co-signing CW, like your decedents. Are not just as worse or worser. Is very absurd!!’ Wow😂😂😂

Northern California is different, crazy cause we're in the same state. The gang ploy worked out there, coupled with not enough good schools. We got catholic, private schools that just let Blacks in, early seventies. My cousins parents didn't take advantage of $130 a month to invest in their kids along basically the whole culture. It's only a select few that have knowledge of the streets and good living economically.

Organize a group to give the youth something to look up to instead of them glorifying the entertainers who are usually horrible people… most of them do it unknowingly.

@1:48 "We didn't know nothing about building credit or $ht like that" So? That wasn't taught when I went to school either. As the kid of parents that just went through a war, as little kids. there was none of that. I picked it up myself because I made the decision to not do what others do, so I don't end up like others. You think it's tough being black, try being biracial 50-60 years ago. You aren't black enough to be black, you aren't white enough to be white and your parents may never be accepted from either party. The only thing you have left is to prove everybody wrong by being successful. Every time someone sees me being successful, that means at least another 5 black people get an opportunity. Every time a black person commits a stereotypical act, it kicks the whole group down the ladder a few rungs. It takes a small group of like minded individuals to get together and be successful to prove that it can be done and then that presents an obvious choice or path for others to follow. Anybody that verbally, socially, and mentally blames another group, race, society or culture is doing nothing but wasting energy that should be spent on self improvement. If you think there is someone out to get you, prove them wrong. It will hurt them more than you know. When it comes to successful black people, they typically only get money from their own. Donald Trump, Bill Gates and Warren Buffet don't sell lifestyle products and services to black people to get rich, but other black people sure do. They TELL you to celebrate being black while selling you running shoes, headphones, clothing, music and lifestyle. Black people line up to act a fool with the clothing they were told to wear or the car that they were told to drive, that they spent their money they should have been saving or investing. I still work in the most predominately black areas and frequented them when I was younger because relatives lived there. A lot of wasted time and a lot of excuses blaming everything and everybody else. Afterschool programs were not a thing until highschool and my highschool was so far away, you couldn't participate unless you had a ride home. There were no city buses that went out to that school either. You try to show most of these folks the way and you are either immediately inundated with excuses or told you were rich. When I was a kid, I rode a used girl's bike with a BMX seat on it from the garbage. It was purple, so I had to spray paint it black. Tell me how hard you had it again...

Also, black celebs can’t come together with their money, because it’s not their money. That money is tied in contracts. This is why someone like Pat Mahomes who’s worth half a billion can’t just uproot and go live in Thailand if he wanted. It’s not his money to do so. It’s the organization. As long as he complies with the contract, they allow him to make APPROVED purchases that are signed off by his agent and other elites. These rappers and athletes aren’t really rich. It’s not their money.
@robertsanchez74129 күн бұрын
thats just so not true. When you are that rich you must have a hired tax attorney and portfolio manager. The average person in us won't even make 1 million dollars in all 20 plus years of his working life. If a man gets even just 1 million dollars a year he must set aside around 40k to 80k to hire both a tax attorney and portfolio Manger. One fights the government to help you keep all your money. the other makes sure you understand the ramifications of stupid purchases and holds a vote to see if it's needed or not based off your entire pool of money and if it's not seen as a responsible purchase them yes you can be told no on your own wants. You can always fire them though but beware these people don't want you to go broke because they are getting paid by keeping you rich. So if they say it's not something you can afford even of you have a half Billy in the bank they mean it. This is something you won't ever understand probably.

Only thing with content creation is. You can make content creating your business. But down to the nitty gritty it’s not really ya business. It’s the business of the platform you choosing to use. Giving in your mind it’s your business. But it’s truly theirs. By themselves fact that they can shut your business/account down. At any point for any reason at all. Or just because they want to. Luckily I don’t believe that’s happened. Or it’s not super often. Which really means your business is actually really their business. Because they control its existence. Least on that said platform. Works the same way with the creators that branded some Chinese product as their own. An is selling it on their TikTok shop or whatever. If the business platform decides to ban it time out you or boot you. That business disappears. Than your on a scramble to figure out how to keep it going. The smarter of them. Will pay for their own website. A get it out their as atleast another option of where to find what’s selling. Also to see the same content posted there also. On a website you’re paying to own. That someone else can’t just boot ya entire business model an existence. So to me them really aren’t solid business models. After alota time. If enough engagement is there. Yeah ya can make some big paper. But it’ll never have the surety of an actual Trade job. Even if you get into your own webpage a build it up there. Content won’t pay you there by advertisements. The income would only come from sales of people making willing purchases of your product. Be it an actual product. Or purchasing like a membership to a community you can build theirs. With more exclusive content that is behind a subscription paywall. That won’t go onto the other businesses platforms.
@atlasisshrugging8 күн бұрын
Good to see that some people know what the REAL deal is. YT "content creators" are only making money if their videos DON'T displease the "Woke Thought Police". As soon as you do or say something that deviates from the Left-wing political/social narratives, they'll shut you down for whatever EXCUSE they decide to invent; and then simply NOT reply to any of your protesting that THEY were mistaken. (Just look at what happened to MxR Plays or Steven Crowder.) You can ONLY make money if you AVOID the conflicts between Left/Right political and social issues.... or if you PROMOTE the Left-wing worldview.
@lauriepassione7535 күн бұрын
YESSSS! Content creation isn’t really a “product”. It’s just you talking about current events and hoping that people will subscribe to your channel. Real life is coming up with an idea or product that people want or need, then marketing it. That sort of thing takes a lot of time, effort and follow through. Not many people have the intestinal fortitude for that kind of thing…. You know the saying,” If it was easy, everyone would be doing it”.
@SteveSteeleSoundSymphony4 күн бұрын
When you create a KZbin account, you agree to their Terms of Service. If you follow the contract you have with KZbin, you won’t have any problems with your channel disappearing. That’s just common sense. People’s channel’s get terminated because they do stupid stuff, like pull pranks that are illegal, harass citizens, break the law in the video, or promote hate speech. It’s pretty easy to not do those things. Also, just starting a channel because you want to be the next social media influencer or because other channels make money on this platform is not a good reason to start a channel. You need to have something that other people want or need. And if you’re an honest content creator, in other words you don’t take other channels videos and use their content, then being a KZbin creator is hard work! Especially if you’re doing most of the work yourself. Just sitting around talking about stuff is a fairly weak business model for a KZbin channel. The Podcast genre is full at this point. There’s only room for creators that really bring something unique and exciting.
@SteveSteeleSoundSymphony4 күн бұрын
@@lauriepassione753No. It’s not just podcasts. There’s a channel that only releases one video about every six months. The channel owner is a cartoon animator. He’s very good at it, but it takes months to make a single 20 minute video. But, he’s got at least a million real subscribers and a very successful Patreon following. He’s successful because he gives the people something valuable and entertaining. When he started out his cartoons were basically stick figures. But five years later his cartoons were as good as anything you’d see on TV. Now it’s been ten years I believe and his content is top notch. He started his channel to learn how to animate, and he also had a message he wanted to get across. Now, he’s made a lot of money from that channel and he’s a professional animator and has a career outside of KZbin. I know several content creators like this. None of them started out wanting to be “influencers.” They had a passion to be creative at a high level and they achieved it, building a career at the same time. Imo, that’s the best way to build an honest KZbin living.
@AquaTech2252 күн бұрын
@@SteveSteeleSoundSymphony you can follow all the rules to the T don’t mean squat. KZbin is still a business an has the right to terminate your channel/wanna be business as they see fit. A within right to do so. They already silence people as they please. So regardless of the rules. You best can believe that can easily hack someone’s channel without notice just because they want to. Just like any store can put you out of it. Just because they want to. Regardless if you done nothing wrong. Just like the cake makers not wanting to make wedding cakes for the same sex people. KZbin is KZbin’s business. An their business runs off others. But their big enough if they want they can rid of anyone a not be severely effected. Anyone relying on it as a business as “theirs”. Their business is actually KZbin’s business. They’re just a cog in the system at best. Their business they think they own they really don’t. KZbin owns it because they can dissolve it at will.
