hmmm...i bet that guy killed his son. "asking allah to take his son to a better place" must just be a euphomism.

Daidric Holbytla the man was a scholar, he wouldn't commit the sin of killings his own son. If he was pious enough not to give his son to the Shah's daughter to save him from the evils that the son would have to support, he obviously would be pious enough not to kill his own son.
