Good review biggest difference to me is the Asian section at Bacchanal and desserts. So, to me the Bacchanal is my preferred.

When I hear people complain about a $75-$100 buffet in Vegas I wonder why they are in Las Vegas. You are going to grab 3 plates of food and desserts at minimum. Shut up and enjoy life!!! Thanks Matthew. I still have my D $25 chip for saying your name at checkin. I love it.

If you think these buffets are overpriced, they’re a great value for Vegas standards. I went to a mid $$ restaurant and shared a few plates for lunch at cosmo. We spent $70 each and we weren’t even full. When I’m at a buffet, I treat it like a 4 course meal! Enjoy 💗

I'll go with The Bacchanal. Both have the quality. I also think the Beef Ribs are better at The Wynn and sometimes like on your visit they don't have them at The Bacchanal. But it's the selection is what puts Bacchanal over the top.

I didn’t think bachanal was good quality though. It had tons of selections and variety but the food was not that great. Tasted like regular buffet food. My hubby and I weren’t crazy about it. The Wynn has less options but the food is not just better quality but also tasted so much better. They had dishes that were super yummy and that was not ordinary buffet dishes. It’s unique in that way

@nmelgar74 The Wynn is a great Buffet. I've been to Wynn twice(Bacchanal 5X) and would definitely go back. With Ceasars being in the middle of the Strip that also has to do with it as well. I just think I've had better experiences at Bacchanal. The difference between the two isn't huge but overall that's my choice. I can see how your opinion though is The Wynn. 😋

@ the location for bachanal is definitely better than the Wynn. But we just thought that for the price that you pay, the food doesn’t live up to that. Yea there’s lots of it but none of the dishes stood out for me. But maybe I’m just cheap lol. I like the ambiance at the Wynn. But I agree with it being too darn far away. When we go we take advantage and go to the mall across the street :)

Wynn for the win. I've been to it many times and has never disappointed. But I haven't been back since before Covid. I've always liked the quiet, classy atmosphere of the wynn.

I also enjoy both buffets. What may sound crazy is the "sleeper" item is actually the chicken enchiladas at the Wynn. They are packed with flavors. I do love a great smoked brisket also. They go back and forth sometimes based on how they are smoked and also how long they sit around before served. The seafood is great at both.

I'm getting hungry just watching this! To me, EITHER of the Buffets would be GREAT for my tastes! It's always STILL a shock to be paying $50 to $90 USD for a Vegas Strip buffet when I remember back in the day around 1993 to 1999, I could eat at the positively LOADED breakfast buffet at the Flamingo for $13 and a $1 (One Dollar!) vodka slushie starting at 9:00 am and then goto the Golden Nugget lunchtime buffet WITH A BIG cocktail drink all for around $12 to $14 depending on the season. My favourite was the Sahara Dinner Buffet for $11 which had a BIG SLICE of prime rib beef (14 oz at least!) and the nightly special drink (usually a Margarita or rummed-up fruit smoothie!) was only $3 which came in a huuuuuuuuge plastic big-logo souvenir cup you could take with you! Good memories! These buffets look and ARE more sophisticated and stylish than back in the day BUT I sure do miss those awesomely cheap prices! V

You can still go down to the South Point - Garden Buffet for that old style inexpensive buffet. Get the players card and it saves a few bucks. The quality is decent.

I play at Wynn often enough that I get comped the dinner buffet about once a month. That's the perfect frequency for me because I know my waist would balloon if I went more often. Haven't tried Bacchanal yet. I remember when the Bellagio had a really good buffet. Now it's trash. That's what happens when the bean counters are given too much control.

The food looks really good. I've gone to buffets before but not in Vegas. In NYC I went for 5 plates. Unfortunately my doctor advised me to lose weight. I lost 50 lbs and feel sorry I can't indulge in what you're eating.

pro tip: book for 12:30pm brunch at wynn, pay cheaper price and at 1pm they serve the dinner and good stuff like the crabs and seafood! place looks deadAF which is good if u want a quiet eat when matt went at 245pm on a weekday..im sure bachannal is much more of a 'rat race' crowdedAF

If you want BETTER FOOD at a decent price go north on Las Vegas Bvld to Rick's Rollin Smoke BBQ house where for $25 USD can get you an incredible meal with lots of GREAT BEEF! The Ribs were STUNNING! I found you need to make sure you ask your server for the softest brisket cuts to make sure you get the really soft and tender ones. I also REALLY LIKE the spicy slaw -- A nice bite to them which goes down with a GREAT India Pale Ale or a nice shot of sambucca! Prices were much better than expected for the large portions -- You won't go hungry here! If you remember the fun times of being teenager who could eat anything and everything, say what you will but the Circus Circus buffet has all the great comfort food options you can possibly imagine for its $20-adults/$12-kids prices! It's actually pretty good and of course it's all comfort food which makes for a great time! The breakfast buffet is my favourite time because you can get enormous omelettes with EVERYTHING in them! Add some hot sauce too to give them some morning BITE to them to start your day! V

I've been to both several times over the years, and while I think both are a good value for the $ , the Baccanal seems to be more consistent in quality. But the lines to get certain dishes can lead to cold food by the time you get to eat it.

We have done both in the past two years. While some of the food, (especially the steak), stood out at the Wynn, the huge variety at Bacchanal would probably lead me to choose that one again on our next visit.

One thing to consider is that the Bacchanal buffet has a 90 minute limit while the Wynn has a 2 hour limit that doesn't seem to be strictly enforced. However, the Bacchanal looks to be of higher quality. It's be fun to eat at either, but I know going in I'm never going to eat enough food to cover the cost.👍🤶🎄🎅🦃✌🗽

I prefer Wynn because the atmosphere is far more pleasant. There is going to be more than enough food to enjoy at both places, so I choose the one with better seating, decor and service.

I'm not the biggest fan of buffets, the last time I ate at a Vegas buffet was way back in 2015. If I have to choose which one from this video, I'll probably go with the Wynn Buffet.

Oh yeah! I remember at Treasure Island, you could get the $2 dollar one ounce vodka or rum-based cocktails in a plastic cup which mean you would drink four of them in an hour while sitting at the slots! LOL! ...OR... you could buy the full GLASS Pirate Skull Head drink for only $12 (and that was EXPENSIVE for the day!) and you got the keep the glass as a souvenir! V

AND if you are an airplane enthusiast, there used to be a small hotel-casino(now demolished) off the southeast side of the airport where all the Military Fighter Pilots from USA, Canada, UK, Germany, Sweden, etc. would stay off-base when they did training at NELLIS! It had about 20 slots in the main lounge and a big bunch of old fighter helmets, flight suits and even a wing from an F5 Tiger Shark pasted to the bar wall. The buffet was $10 USD for the lunch and dinner times AND the cocktail drinks were HUUUUUGE for the $5 you paid! The pool was fairly big and was that typical 90's curved-edges style and it was ALWAYS pool-side party time til midnight with all the fighter jockeys bragging about their training near misses and foreign exploits! You could also get the $2 super-cheap plastic beer cups! It was a blast to talk to all the pilots and hear all the probably waaaay-exaggerated "war stories"! What a bunch of great memories and I sooooooo wish that sort of pricing and fun would come back to Vegas! Things were a lot looser without all the overbearing rules and oversight you have in the big Vegas Strip hotels of today! You could have some fun for a weekend even late into the night and once in a while you could win your money back! I miss those days! V

We did both buffets earlier this year. Our thoughts...Wynn won on seafood and Caesars won on meat / desserts. We were staying at Caesars and ate at the Bacchanal twice during the week due to a friend joining us the second time. I think overall we liked Caesars just a bit more for the quality and selection--but Wynn certainly didn't disappoint! Try both if you have the time, appetite and it's in your budget.

The Wynn's side dishes and desserts are top tier and fade Bacchanal. And I love the ambience at Wynn. Bacchanal seafood and Asian food sections are the winners for me. I think people would be very happy with either.

Couple things not mentioned is that Bacchanal also has these carts that some servers push around the dining room bringing guest little tapas of mini wagyu hot dog, gazpacho shooters, and bao buns at their tables. You can see one or two in the background. Wynn also has the bottomless alcoholic drink which I dont think Bacchanal offers (maybe during breakfast they do?) Speaking of breakfast, the Wynn breakfast buffet is absolutely outstanding and one of the best breakfasts I have ever had. Wynn has been known to have slightly better quality with less offerings, but I think the overall experience of Bacchanal and the sheer amount of options they have brings it just a touch above the Wynn. It is Vegas baby, gotta go big.

It would have been better to have gone at 7:30pm to the Wynn, too. At a buffet, even the high-end ones, the food is a little fresher during the more popular dining times. Going at the same time of day would have given you a more fair comparison even if you would have needed to wait in line.
