saying bye bye bye to over 30 books | my first book unhaul

I can't believe I'm saying this but I have too many books and not enough space...when did that happen? So it's time to say goodbye to books that no longer interest me or books that just don't bring me joy.

3:15 my mom does this sometimes! I go through phases with things and she’ll come home with random things for me I no longer have interest in. Went through a flannel phase, she bought me new ones until I had the rainbow. Went through a graphic T phase, I now have little plain shirts and my drawer is overflowing. I started getting into plants and I’m okay with only having a few, every other week she tries to sneak a new plant on my shelf

When I did bookstack photos, I would use a stool or chair to hold the weight of the books and lean the stack against me/hold them partially for the photo. Then I’d edit the stool as needed. Or have the stool close enough to the camera where it’s not seen but the books are. Gives the illusion you’re holding them!

I didn’t love Lessons in Chemistry so I don’t think you’re missing much, haha! If you ever do try to read All the Light We Cannot See, I suggest listening to the audiobook, either by itself or along with reading physically. I DNF’ed it the first time around but I gave it another shot with the audiobook and it ended up being a 5 star! It’s a lot to get into but so worth it in the end, in my opinion 😊

Devney Perry is not for me either. I hated one book & DNFed two more before I gave up. I liked the show for All The Light We Cannot See a lot better than the book, just saying. 😂
