I too moved from what I thought was our forever home ( same situation) my babies were small, I was exhausted, it was snowing, I cried my eyes out. It’s years later and some days I still reflect and shed some tears. You just never forget where you brought your babies home to for the first time. I’m glad God treasured you with a “Godwink” what a lovely lasting memory! Now, it is a new season, new chapter and the good Lord has a special plan for you all. One that I’m sure will bring happiness, peace and pure joy. My best to you all! I cannot wait to see your new “space” and all you do with it. No doubt it will be amazing! FYI… GREAT idea putting the rugs down outdoors large surface to keep all safe, and keep their footing. Can get tricky moving large items and boxes normally let alone on ice!!😮… I speak from experience!! Not as easy as it looks!! plus it helped to keep the sand and salt off your floors!! Safety is most important!! 😊 See you in Nashville! 🤠

I feel your pain about the ice storm. We moved into a new home in 1994 in the middle of a huge ice storm - there were trees along the route into the neighborhood that were so bent over by the ice that they had to be cut down in order to get the moving truck in. Then the moving truck froze to our driveway and we had to pour hot water on the wheels to free them up. What chaos. Hope the rest of your move goes well and you are happy in Nashville.
