Losing a horse is hard and sometimes it's easy to be selfish. I want you all to know that if you've ever had to put a horse down due to them being in pain or never getting better, you aren't a bad person and you did what was right. They understand. Please take care of yourselves guys, and smooch your horsies' muzzles while they're here with you .

Thank you. My old horse Bandit had to be put down because he was in his 20’s and had arthritis…I think of him everyday, and when our song comes on I can’t take it. It is unbearable, but they won’t hate you for it. You’ll be with your heart horse again, I promise. ~Cienna Moonhope 🤍

I'm sorry for loss of your horse friend I know how you feel because I had to part with horseback riding place horse friend Star who was chestnut brown mare with the sweetest and kindest most gentle of nature that any horse could of ever even had and Spot the pony stallion both of these two horses were my friends I'm sure that I'll see them again on rainbow bridge along with many of my other animal friends too as will you with your horse friend.

I lost my cat, my mom recorded me as I was sobbing. All you hear is, “He was too young! He had so much longer and YOU let him die” and I feel so bad for blaming her for his death, I just was in the stages of grief then.

I have never lost a horse (yet). But I have lost a dog and the pain of losing an animal hits different fs. My sister lost her baby crie that she was rehabbing and it was heart wrenching. Going into the veterinary technician field I know I will have to experience this a lot. Honestly I will probably be crying right there with them. Anyway I’m truly sorry Amelia, sometimes doing the right thing dosent always feel tight or easy.💔❤️‍🩹

This is beautiful 😢 The way you beautifully edited it, and the way this video is important. Losing a pet or loved one is terrible, being someone to have lost her dog at the young age of 4 and wonder why my mother came back without him to losing my uncle at 8 and being angry at my brother for laughing as he didn't understand what passing away really meant to losing my other dog at 10 and so many of my relatives wonderful dogs I understand. But the best thing for you to do is let them go, holding on for too long isn't healthy. I know how incredibly hard it is, but you have to let go eventually. Just because someone you loved is gone, doesn't mean you need to aswell. They'd want you to continue on, do so and make them proud. ❤ Stay Strong

I started crying halfway through because it reminds me of Dancer, she was one of my horses who died from cancer.😢 And Ginger also who my parents sold behind my back, I LOVE U AMELIA me and Ginger used to watch ur vids secretly in Gingers stall, just to hide from reality. But I suppose every good thing comes to an end. 😭

I Lost my mom when I was 6yo by she got sick that was not curable and she passed 5.9.20 and now I am nine years old and I get bullied about it a lot so I got a horse and he helps me a lot And if passed I would never stop crying but I wanted to tell this because I want people to learn to be nice because you never know how much it can affect them and that horses help people so yeah be kind and have a nice day!❤

This August I had to put my horse because I found out that he had lung canter by the time I came back from showing some other animal he was so thin and just didn’t look good. Even though he was a pasture pet (he wasn’t rideable) he was loved by everyone.Still hard to look out the door and him not being in the pasture 😢.

this is so sad my pony recently got ill but we have no idea how and had 2 diffrent vets come to him he is amazing because he is not fazed at all by his illness (we dont know what it is) he is running around in a feild super strong but sweet and amazing pony

Aw it’s ok❤ we all have a death in our life. Our animals aren’t supposed to live the rest of our life, we’re supposed to live the rest of theirs! He is now resting in peace and you made the right decision now he’s not in pain and playing happily while watching over you❤

aww this made me tear up I lost a pony his name was candy..I had him as family and we were best buds but he was injured by a snake when we were walking in the bushes. The venom got through him and he didn’t recover. my other horse ram lost his best bud and we were both very sad this was 7 weeks ago and I still can’t get over the fact that he’s gone. Please take the time that you have with someone and use it well.

This video thought me that all animals that u love its going to be such a hard goodbye one of my ginny pigss named dasher died as a baby then my goldfish but then my most hardest one was Doc he was with me for 6 years until a week before Christmas he sadly passed away I thought it was my fault but then I realized to things one is u have to say goodbye to every animal second ginny pigs don't last to long so at first I blamed it on myself later on that day I knew he was very old now in couple years it will be time to say good bye to my other pets I'm missing doc and dasher so much I know u did the right thing guys if u put a animal down its always hard btw I subscribed today I love all these videos I've watched

Its really hard letting go of a horse or an animal that you love, but the best thing to do is to let them go…my riding instructor horse passed away her name was Xenia..Ashley rescued her from being neglected! I fell in love with her..but when my dad told me Xenia passed away! i was heartbroken…but she is in a better place now. She was patient when I had to let go of the reins for 2 seconds! She didn’t run off..

My 6 year old gelding broke his fetlock in a place where there was a healed old broken part(idk my English ain’t the best when it comes to this) and we called the vet but the computer of the vet didn’t work so we had to like sort of support him with 6 people to the horse truck to go to the vet but he tripped and because he didn’t want to fall on me he fell on his leg with the broken fetlock, at that point I was already crying losing hope, after an hour drive at the vet he went through a whole examination thing with scan things, when my boss saw the photo’s of the scan she gave me 2 options, operate again but have a chance that if we’ll ride again that his leg will snap or 2 put him down and free him from the pain, ofcourse I choose the last option, I knew that I shouldn’t think of what will happen to me if he left, I had to think of what he’ll feel when I let him go, He’ll be freed from the pain in a happy place, even though I knew I suffered from already really bad depression and that I’ll hit rock bottom I still choose to free him, that’s how everyone should think, think for the animal, think for yourself later

Wow….thanks for getting in my feels Amelia….😂 but with all honesty…..I would die, If I had to put down my cat…..I love her so much, and we have such a great bond….knowing she’s right beside me as I sleep, protecting me….is sometimes the real reason I can fall asleep……without her I would be nothing, I can’t even think about it….or I start to lose my mind….she’s so important….and I’m really scared because she’s 17…..and I know she won’t live forever, but I could never live without her…..Honestly, when she goes, I can only imagine, I’ll give up and go with her….I can’t bear to not have her…..she’s so amazing……and she plays an important role in my life…..I grew up with her….she’d guard my door as a baby,(and my other cat that I grew up with that we had to put down) sleep near my crib and would try and protect me…..and cry for me when my mom took me out for walks. And she still does….it’s so hard…and I can’t imagine life without her….. I would also die if Tom or Misty did…..I know their not my horses, but I have such a great bond with them! I work with Misty currently and I used to work with Tom, he’ll run up to me when I call his name (even in the field) he nudges me for kisses, and becomes restlessly and relentlessly, excited and happy when I’m around…..he does everything I tell him to right away and would do anything for me….without giving me any trouble….and Misty we work together do nicely and we also would miss her….I would miss her sure footedness, he light steps, her sassy attitude and her wizzyness/the wizz she has to her….and she’s so amazing and important….I couldn’t live without my little jumping pony! And Tom is so stubborn I’d miss that….
