Nice footage, it brought me right back to riding through there last summer on the BC Trail

Watched your video with K this morning. Two thumbs up. I wonder why Tourism BC hasn’t come knocking on your door…or maybe they have? Some of your drone work reminds me of stuff done by Fleggard, a Swedish company that has captured that country’s beauty from the air.

I will have to contact Tourism BC! I have tried to model my drone work after Fleggard!

That section It is part of the Trans-Canada Trail but the KVR ends in Midway. You are cycling on the Columbia and Western Railway which runs over to Castlegar. I like that you are exposing other cyclists to some of the cool rail-rails in BC. I would guess the ride between Castlegar and Christina Lake is a bit over the top.

We rode from Christina Lake to Castlegar a few years ago. It’s a beautiful ride, but there has been some damage to the trail in the last year. Thanks for watching.

I live in Eastern Canada but after watching your series, I want to go to Slocan and the Kootenays for a couple of weeks just to ride the trails you rode! Is it easy to rent a gravel bike and how much road riding is there in the area (free of traffic)?
@PiquePictures Жыл бұрын
Not sure where you would rent a gravel bike, but there are lots of bike stores in the Kootenays. The riding is amazing.

Awesome video and ride. Just curious are you going to try the new GoPro Hero 12?

I’m not sure. I find the 11 quite capable! But I’m looking into the 12 just out of curiosity. Thanks for the question and thanks for watching.
