What a wonderful company the 99 has been! This is so sad and I’m so sorry for you! It really is like losing a loved one. You’re in my prayers. I’m relieved that you’re not going anywhere. I’d really miss you, and I know countless other people would, too. I wish I were there because I’d buy some of the Easter decor to remember the 99 by. Hello Sway! I enjoyed listening to your story behind the $.99 store and how much you was involved with them. But the said thing is I teared up when you were telling us about everything you were involved with the 99 and how they helped you and your community out in hard times. All our local stores in San Antonio have officially closed already. 99 cent was our to go store during covid and when I became a single mom this store saved me. My family and I are devastated they have closed. 😢

Omg it was kind of hard watching this as someone that use to shop at 99 cent from time to time especially for Halloween decorations. So appreciate this last video!! Last Sunday our local store closed.. $10 for all you could fit in a shopping cart! I was there at 9:15 am Sunday & quite a lot of seasonal left. By 10:00 am. the store was completely empty. Can you believe it? Still So very sad for me! 😩 😓

I went to a 99 years ago, but didn't think much of it. When I found out that they were closing, I went a couple times and found so many great things... including a graduation plush and your channel! Oh my gosh, I can see the sadness in your eyes, the tears. Sway, you have such a big, generous and compassionate heart. I can tell that by just watching and listening to your videos. You are a very special person filled with kindness and love. If I can see that from Iowa and never meeting you in person I am sure the 99 personal picked up on it immediately and knew you would be a great ambassador for their store. When a door closed for you they help open another. Now their door is closing and because of the kindness they showed you and the strength and friendships you gained along the way tells me they are still there for you in your heart as another door opens. You took a chance with them in a very uncertain time in your life and they inturn opened a door that taught you a great lesson in faith and hope. That is something no one can ever take away from you and you can always fall back on.
