SAYING GOODBYE TO A DEAR OLD BOY - VLOGMAS DAY 6: Sadly, my Vlogmas has not been the very merry and jolly time I had hoped. But if I remember anything from this time I would want to remember this very sad day, because to forget would be like forgetting him. When I realised he was gone, the first thing I thought was that I wish I had more memories of him to look back on. So I will stick at this for those memories. I am absolutely heartbroken, and I miss our old boy so much. Rest in peace Milo.

I'm Charlotte and I am one of those mums just trying to make it all work, if you know what I mean.
I'm 28, love carbs, rubbish 90's music, Prosecco and baths without finding a bath toy stuck under my bum.
I have a little boy called Bill (born June 2012) and a little girl called Daisy (born April 2016).
I work full-time (which is bloomin' tiring sometimes) but I'm on maternity leave at the moment (hurrah). And I also blog and make these videos for fun, because I daren't leave my memories to chance. I want to capture what I can.
I'm also part of Channel Mum - which is really worth checking out if you're a mama like me and want to find videos to make you laugh, cry, nod, get advice, and want to eat food (there's some great recipe videos). / channelmum
I was a single mum, just me and Bill. But then I had a bit of a fairytale moment when I met Mark (he's a bit lovely) and things are better than I could have hoped for now. Daisy was born with Stickler Syndrome, and a cleft palate like me. Her start has been rocky but she'll be fine. She's got a family who adore her after all.
I know that all mums are different in their own way, but I hope you enjoy seeing snippets of my life, all the same.

Looks like Milo had a beautiful family to love him and give him a wonderful life for 15 years and he paid you back with happy memories how amazing is that?. It is not silly to be sad Charlotte they are family. xxxx

It's the hardest thing losing a pet. We've lost a few dogs over my lifetime and you never forget them do you. having a few tears with you lovely xxx

😢 Even now years on I still miss Sam and Honey our childhood dogs they were full family members. Thinking of you 💕💕

I'm so sorry Charlotte. It was a lovely tribute to mr milo. I to have lost a dogs over the years. My most cherished puppy was called boo boo. She was a Labrador & such fighter & lover. Nothing could stop her! We lived on a ranch, one foggy morning a car came down our road & hit boo boo & she lost her eye. Boo boo came walking home by herself. My dad rushed her to the vet & the vet stitched her little eye shut & she laid low for a bit. After about a month she was back out there being her wonderful self. She lived many years after that, my little 1 eyed pirate puppy. Then 1 day it was time for her to go to heaven & it was so dreadfully hard. I'm crying just thinking about her know & thinking of you too. Milo knew how much you loved him. Rest in that. Blessings!

This broke my heart,we lost our dog Max 10 years when he was 14. It is such a heartbreaking thing to go through when they are such a big part of the family. RIP Milo,hope you meet my Max up in doggie heaven 💞 xx

Oh my goodness I'm so sorry. I had to stop watching when the tears started rolling down my cheeks as I'm sat on my lunch break. I have a dog too and it breaks my heart to even think of her not being around anymore - these little fur balls have such a special place in our hearts. Huge hugs to you xx

We pick up our first little Jack Russell/patterdale puppy on the 30th of December and this has had me in floods of tears. We are getting a dog to complete our little family and so our little girl isla has a little friend to grow up with. i have always tried to block out all the heart ache that comes with having a dog when they get poorly as i remember losing 2 of my family's dogs when i was younger and if was horrible but this touched me deeply charlotte. I am so so sorry for your loss and am thinking of you at this horrible time. sending you lots of love and hugs xxxxxx

Oh Charlotte my heart is breaking for you. The pain of losing your family pet is horrendous. I am still grieving the loss of my dog who we lost in March. Let yourself cry and be sad, but also remember he was loved and had the best life any dog could wish for. He was loved. I am so sorry for your loss, genuinely am. It hurts so bad. Take care Xx

Oh Charlotte, it's not silly, a pet is so much more than a "pet" they are part of your family and always will be. They will live on in family stories and never be forgotten. We said goodbye to our golden lab a couple of years ago after having her for 15 yrs - broke all of our hearts, i know how you feel and im so sorry - big hugs to u all x
