I'm glad to see the Donnelly's touch to Caleb, most importantly Brennan. It reminds you how long ago its been since he tragically passed but not only would Brennan have been going to college so would have Caleb if he'd still be alive this day. It's truthfully shocking to realize how much time has passed.

Seeing the baseball card of Caleb on Brennan"s desk reminded me of how long I have been watching the Donnelly vlogs. I was watching well before Calebs death. I have watched a large part of Brennans life and am so proud of the young man he has become. I cried like a baby. Happy Future Brennan!

@@nai2099 Caleb was a very close childhood friend. I believe that Katie met Caleb's sister Annie at gymnastics and they became forever friends. This friendship lead to many family outings with Annie's family and Brennan and Caleb were the same age. The boys hit it off. There was also a younger sister named Hailey (Bratayley family vlog) and of course Ryan. The parents became close friends especially the mothers. Katie was on a sleepover at Annie's house when Caleb's mom tried to wake him up and he aparently had a cardiac episode and he died, he was 13. His sudden unexpected death traumatized both families. Brennan has obviously kept Caleb close in his heart. This took place in 2015.

I knew this would be an emotional video and it took me right back to when my sister moved out and it was just me and my parents at home. She was my best friend and the house seemed so quiet without her there. It took me a whole week to stop crying and to this day we are still the best of friends. Big adjustment, but he’s going to grow so much at FSU. St. Thomas More was my church for my four years there. I lived in the townhouses behind the church for three years. It’s a really beautiful church and I can’t wait to go back up to Tally to see the finished sanctuary! So many memories to come for Brennan!! Good luck

Brennan should take advantage of the time in Community College to get to know some non-tradition (old) students. Hearing their stories about why they are back in college will help him focus on getting it done while he is young and single - at least that's how it worked for me.

Definitely I took the long road went to a four college for a year then went to a community college for a year. After that year went back to the same four year college for a year and half. I took sometime off to refocus of half a year. Went back to community college graduated with two associates degrees. I have been in my career for over 20 years.

@RainWanders I don't think that's such a good idea for Brennan. As you said, you had some issues within yourself. Brennan is a well adjusted young man with an awesome support system who has been given all the tools and every advantage in life. I always wanted to go to law school. When I graduated with my undergrad degree I told my parents I wanted to work for a while and make some money and I was a bit burned out after 18 years of school. The agreed. When I lost my job due to the economic recession and couldn't get another, I told my parents I was ready for law school. My father dropped the bomb on me and said the was "done paying" and I would have to pay for it myself with no job and no money. Basically, he set me up for years of misery in a job I hated. Not going to law school right after undergrad was probably the WORST decision I ever made in my life!

Wow, I just ran across this channel a few days ago and I'm not ashamed to say I teared up seeing the love of 2 brothers. Being an only child, I can only wish I had a big brother growing up.
