My boyfriend and I started dating last year and early this year he had to move to Texas ( I’m from Puerto Rico) he recently joined the army and he’s in basic training. We’ve been doing long distance for almost 8 months and we will move in together in about two years when he’s done with AIT and im done with my bachelors degree. I would probably never be able to do this with my boyfriend. It would hurt too much to not be able to see him everyday, kiss him, or hug him. KZbin just recommended this video to me and gosh I can relate to this so much... my boyfriend just started serving in the Korean army and it will take him 20 months in total to finish the military service. We met abroad (western europe) so now we are in a really long distance relationship (like 8 hours time gap). And I can barely communicate with him except from sending “text message” online cuz it’s really strict(/difficult) for them to use any electronic devices... long story short i know this is really really hard but I really hope you two can make it!! When the person is right the wait is gonna be worthy :) xx

As somebody who’s been watching you for years and watched dallin when he vlogged, this makes my heart hurt a lot. In a good and bad way, in a good way because of how much (me just a viewer who only gets to see part of your life) you and him always seemed like you would end up together. looking at dallan and how much he cried before he left you really shows how much he loves you. like you said, ur only 17 so nothing is final, but I definitely think that u guys are gonna be together for the rest of ur lives. I just met this amazing guy and we like each other a lot and we both know that. We recently had a 2 and a half hour bus ride and he pulled me in and we cuddled the whole way to where we were going. On our way home on the second 2 and half hour bus ride, we cuddled again, ended up holding hands, and he kissed my forehead. never more in a moment have I felt something so strong. honestly that feeling is one I never want to lose. with the holidays coming around, it is perfect to have someone but unless you can really feel such a strong connection, it's not worth it.

Me and my husband are Latter day saints too, I can understand how you feel! I left for my mission in November 2014.. he then left for his mission the year after (Oct 2015).. we didn't see each other for three years, I start crying if I just remember all of that experience.. SO HARD, but we were so blessed and now we are married!! And so happy.. you guys can do it! Even when difficult times will come! Don't give up!
