I heard Alexxis (i think) say she thought this video was meant to be funny, but I’m so glad it strayed into serious territory. This video is filled with so much love and care for each other, and it absolutely broke my heart to see you all emotional. My sister and I were weeping while watching this. I commend you all for your vulnerability. It’s a beautiful thing to witness what you all have, so thank you for sharing. Good luck in this next chapter, Andrew!!

Being vulnerable, being appreciative, and quite honestly just being yourself is difficult. We all struggle with so much and so many different things and you’re not taught how to express emotions and deal with things. I’ve watched Alex and Aaron for years, but they’re both way older and although they’ve both grown over the years I’ve watched them, that growth was never relatable to me. Andrew, yes, your content is relatable and yes im always excited for another post, but the reason im drawn to this channel is because your GROWTH is relatable. Im going to college next year, my personality is similar, and I’ve never really fit in at school or work and quite honestly my family. Being myself was hard and pretending was exhausting. For a long time I didn’t have much hope and was living “comfortably numb” as I call it. Specifically this last summer of yours, inspired and motivated me to try and leave this “numb” state. I may still be on that journey, but it’s growth, and that’s all that matters. Thank you Andrew for everything that you’ve done for me whether you know it or not. PS this is so long so sorry lol, but hey maybe longer comments will help with the views!!! Haha

I’m getting Perks of Being A Wallflower vibes. At least in terms of your journey as a whole thus far. Esp towards the end of the movie with the tunnel scene. Hoping your first day went smoothly and you’re adjusting well. You should be so proud of yourself for taking this leap and for carving your own path. These next 4 years are going to fly by and so much can change in that time frame. A lot can change in just a year, so embrace every moment bad and good. And in those low moments always remember you made it through once and you can do it over and over again. “You’re not a sad story!”

I’ve watched your amazing family for 10 years and have enjoyed every moment of the journey. You’re going to do wonderful things in your life. Enjoy the life you’re creating for yourself. Andrew, this is one of the first videos I’ve seen of yours that actually made me cry so much. I don’t even know you, or your family personally, yet watching all these videos this past year has made me feel like I’m a part of your life too. It’s so heartwarming to see the love you have for all these people and how much they care about you. I’m so happy that this gap year made you a better person and helped you discover who you are. You’re such a hilarious, happy-go-lucky guy and you really do light up everyone’s faces. I’ve only watched your videos for a year, but I can confidently say that watching them brings me so much happiness. I wish you all the best for the next 4 years of college!! Study well, explore your surroundings, but most importantly make memories of the lifetime with the people you enjoy spending time with. Can’t wait to see what all you accomplish there!
