What a GORGEOUS family trip----loved it all, EXCEPT, oh I do NOT like those mountain drop offs either. I am terrified on roads like that---been through the Blue Ridge/Smokey mountains, as well as the Rockies. Not my thing! Although, I love the views of course when not in a car. Emery, you have a lovely voice.

Thank you so much for taking us along so graciously on your wonderful vacation. you went at the perfect time of year to enjoy these mountains. The pictures are beautiful and professional in quality. I love the trail riding, as well as the long-distance views with you way way down in that valley. Also JR up on that high Ridge. You found perfect homes for two of your horses. You could not have gotten a better situation than having a week to introduce them to their new owners while you’re still around. Both of them are just gorgeous. It’s best to have them land in home like this where they will be used and cherished while opening up spots at your Homestead for some other possibilities, which I’m sure you will relish. Only, a vacation like this is a total change from the ordinary chores of every day life. It really refreshes the mind and spirit. Again, thank you. This may be my favorite of all your videos, although it’s a close call. You have so many good ones.

I have never been that far west: Colorado sure is pretty. Can’t believe they have big foot signs out there; never been sure if they are real. Lovely trip and it seems like your horses got a good new home. They have rattlesnakes out East here too; glad I have only heard stories from other people though. The video seems very peaceful.

I live in Canon City, an hour south of Colorado Springs. I love It here. The deer come by my house every day. Had twelve 2 days ago. If you come again, try to have time to go to Buena Vista and St. Elmo , an old mining town, now a ghost town. You will see a lot of mountains over fourteen thousand feet.

So glad you enjoyed my mountains. I grew up hiking, camping, fishing, and hunting with my dad in these mountains. Now, I just live in and enjoy them daily. I live on the North side of the Peak, maybe about 5 or so miles from the entrance road leading up the Peak, past the North Pole (Santa's Workshop). Hope you made sure your breaks were ok after you came down from the Peak. Love your videos.
