Matthew washing Lauren’s feet was beautiful and a true testaments of his love and character for her. The giving of roses and prayer for the single women instead of the throwing of the bouquet was so beautiful. Such heart felt, and spirit led. Just goes to show you, wedding don’t have to be long or out of this world, to be full of the spirit of God. God is going to bless their marriage.....I just know it.....please tell Lauren that for me......I really appreciate being able to watch it, especially in this time.....we sure need it........the world does..........Amy, you raised a wonderful woman......

Oh, Amy. This makes my heart smile. We don't have any family except my husband, myself and our five little girls. Watching the wedding yesterday and then this today. We celebrated our 42nd wedding Anniversary today. Feeling all the feels. Feeling blessed. And praying for Matthew and Lauren. What an amazing day! Ours was smaller but so special. The day after brunch was a true gift to us and I would encourage others to do it. Even if it's at the local Denny's. The joining of the two families for a meal is a great beginning for a marriage! Blessings to you all Maryon/King families. Safe travels for all.

This is a wedding that brought fun, togetherness and was a joyful celebration. It's what a wedding should be. That's what I told my daughter 13 years ago at her wedding. It's a celebration with friends and family and there maybe things that go wrong but just enjoy and have fun. And that's what we did. We had a wonderful time. Lauren's beautiful smile was contagious but she did bring tears to my eyes when tears were in her eyes:)) I loved the way both families came together.
