lawdd my heart aches for Babi 😩 i know what he did was unacceptable. just hope he’s alright out there lol i’m also quite biased because i absolutely love Jinyoung, as a KPop Idol mostly but i think his acting is also phenomenal. (I recommend watching Christmas Carol!) & knowing it’s his voice on the song I would tear up every time “Shining On Your Night” played throughout Yumi & Babi’s relationship. 💚 thank you for reviewing this season! 👏🏾👏🏾

I was slightly disappointed the ending was ambiguous but super excited to see soon rook turn up! Hes in the webtoon as well. I am hoping there is a Yumis Cells 3 as I would like to see their relationship blossom as it did in the webtoon. I feel so bad for Wung too he needs to have his own happy ending they cant just leave him pining after Yumi, same goes for Babi I hope he finds happiness too! Loved your reactions and videos :)

I don't know, I'm happy the are have a good closure but my heart still broken. Cause no matter how much I try to understand, doesn't make scene Yumi fell out love 🤣 after crying together and that longing kiss? I'm so frustated her love cell doesn't comeback after that, Ba Bi showed his vulnerable side to Yumi and Yumi love Cell still.... I'm stressful last week 🤣 But I love the fact that Ba Bi is beautiful season pass through in Yumi life even until the end. I'm sorry, I love Ba Bi so much 😂

I love Babi too 😭, but honestly just think Yumi was changing into the person we see her become at the end and had outgrown Babi. I think she wanted to love Babi, but you can’t make yourself love someone. I mean I would love him, but Yumi and I are different people 🤣

Also loved him so much and was really dissapointed that they didn't ending up together. Who needs a third guy? People breaking up so easily... Don't know if I could be invested in a new character. Babi was perfect, except for the one part, which wasn't really cheating for me. Don't think he really developt serious feelings for that girl...

Babi broke my heart so bad I'd rather choose woong then babi fr. This is what happens when you have high principles ig. I felt so relatable to yumi's character. I love how she chose herself like I'd have done. Babi was really good, a better boyfriend than woong but after what happened I could've never given him a chance.

I was waiting for your reaction 🫠❤️ It was pretty emotional 😭 I kind of wanted them together but the da eun wavering situation ruined much. They should have talked about their break up and fears etc. the whole situation could have brought them closer together. I guess the whole da eun and him being confused killed her love she never trusted him after everything. 🥺😭what I didn’t like is they made them fall in love and have this insane chemistry just for them to break up two times. It doesn’t make sense for me that she was scared after seeing him in the taxi and being scared that he might be with da eun and crying and the kissing and everything just to not being in love suddenly just doesn’t make sense to me 🫠

I’m conflicted! Of course I want to see Yumi Cells 3 but Yumi is happy and the end-game has already made himself present in her life. I think I want it to end now.

Yumi has certainly grown up, into knowing what she wants out of life and a relationship. Very satisfying to see that. I do wish we’d gotten a bit more of the “mystery man” before the end. (BTW I ended up watching your review right after finishing episode 10 of EAW… Attorney Kwon’s portrayer is so much more likable in YC2 lol.)

I love seeing her happy too. I think she struggled to find her own happiness even when she was in the best moments of her relationships, so it’s good to see her finally content. Yes, the actor who plays Attorney Kwon is so much more likable here. It’s night and day.

I dont care about the ending anymore But THEM dragging woong along all since ep10 really rubbed me the wrong way. Like we didnt have to see so much if him. They should habe given us amswers to alot of questions about Babi… when Babi really started liking Yumi. But instead they concentrated on the love triangle till the end. Like😐 I dont hate wung but I skipped alot of his seeing him, whining about Yumi and Babi. Asking for an invitation to a wedding knowing he doesnt get along with Babi. I started to not feel bad for him. The soonrok part bamboozled me, I read the webtoon, I knw who soonrok is… BUT I just didnt see the reason to make him the endgame or to introduce him because already Babi was the personification of Soonrok already. His arc was given to Babi. I really didnt see the need to introduce him anymore. I honestly dont see myself watch s3. Especially if Wung will still be lingering around Yumi.

I didn’t read the webtoon so I didn’t know this! Maybe the reason Babi is so hard to let go of is because he possessed qualities and moments that we’re supposed to go to her future husband? That makes it so much more confusing. So did they make Babi more likable in the drama than he was in the webtoon? I agree about Wung. It’s been about 3 years since their breakup. I think they would make great friends, but I need him to have his own happy ending.

@@KahlaMonique I just found your reaction videos to the series! I read the web series when it was ongoing and just watched the K-drama series last month (I didn't want to watch the drama when it was airing as I was too attached to the web series lol). 😅 The K-drama series would've been way different if they knew from the beginning that they were going to make S3. But from what we see here, clearly that isn't going to happen. Woong did try to make Yumi come back to him, but as for Yumi and Babi, after they broke up the second time, Yumi didn't see him anymore. And yes, they did make Babi more likable in the drama. In the web series, he ends up with Da Eun. They got married and have a kid. Babi actually met Da Eun when she applied as a part-timer for his Tteokbokki store. On a much later ep it showed Da Eun "knowing" Babi is "the one", as she imagined them already being married and having a kid, right after seeing his face lol. As for Woong, if I remember correctly, he has a new gf? The author has a new series set in Woong's company, so we still see a lot of him even after Yumi's Cells has ended. 😊

I honestly feel like they intended to finish the story with Yumi and Babi ending up together ( e.g. Babi scenes that are supposed to be for Soonrok ) but ultimately decided to stick with the original plan of possibly having a 3rd season and to finish it up according to the webtoon.

Which really makes me wonder if they can make the third season better than the second. I’m a little doubtful, but I guess I’ll just have to wait and see.

It was so predictable that the marrage would broke up. If i had to choose between them, although it's really hard to make a decision, I would be with Woong. Babi was perfect guy. However, Woong's love got better and grew more... I didn't see the webtoon. i'm curious about Soon-rok and whether season 3 will be shooted or not. Thanks for uploading reactions to all episode of Yumi's cells. If you are looking up next kdrama to react to, I recommend "Flower of Evil", or "The Red Sleeve Cuff".

I’ve heard that season three is currently in talks. I don’t think they intended to make it, but lots of fans have asked for it. I’ve seen Red Sleeve Cuff, and it’s in my top 3 dramas that I’ve watched so far this year. Flower of Evil has been on my list for a while, so I’ll definitely be reacting to it at some point.

시즌 3은 나올수가 없어요. 최종 남주인 순록이의 설레는 에피소드를 바비에게 다 써먹었어요. 드라마속 바비 에피의 상당부분이 원작에서는 순록이꺼예요. 웹툰에서도 웅이파 바비파 나눠서 있다가 순록이 등장하자 전부 순록파가 되었었죠. 진짜 순록이 멋진 캐릭터라 드라마에 안나와서 아쉽더라구요.
