saying goodbye

On monday March 8th I lost my dog Zuma to cancer at an age of only 9 months old. I miss her everyday and I still can't believe that she gone.. Zuma was such an amazing dog and we feel so privileged to have been a part of her life. She had the most wonderful personality and was loved by everyone around her.

My parents had nearly the exact same scenario play out with their young golden retriever, ending with the dog being put down today. Losing a dog is horrible. Losing a young one even more so. Sounds like your dog got a lot of love while she was with you.

They are family and it becomes a normal routine, I took my last dog in when she was 5 and had her for 5 years before it was a nerve sheath tumor. I'm sorry for your loss but know Zuma loved you so much and knew how much she was loved❤

I've watched and really liked your RDR2 videos and was just randomly scrolling your older videos and saw the video "I've got a puppy", watched that with a smile on my face and then saw this video in the recommended and watched it right after. Too early for a dog so young to pass away. I was very sad to hear that she and her boyfriend had to go through all the appointments made for Zuma, to see what was wrong with her. I can relate to this! My dog of 3 years who is Labrador and Rottweiler mixed died with cancer too! He died on September of last year. His name was Prince. And it. Still hurts sometimes thinking about him. So take Care!❤

I’m sorry for you and Zuma, Cambonano. Past October my father died by cancer and my loved dog died two months later, December. Sometimes our destiny it’s so hard, and we have to learn and fight every day in that battle called life. Lot of force for you, Cambonano!! 😊💪🏻👍🏻

I truly, truly sorry Cambo, take the time you need, the epic Bloodborne finale can wait, the important thing here is that you feel better, I lost a cat in 2015 from a rare disease, we had to put her to sleep and she was still young, and now I have a dog of almost 15 years old and she has lost her sight, but except for that, she's still strong, still motivated, still gets into mischief, still wants to run, still wants to steal food, still wants to be with us, and we take good care of her. But I know that sooner or later there has to be an end, she already has had a long life and is the natural process of life and it will be hard, because they are not animals or pets, they are our family, so I totally understand and I'm really sorry. I'm really sorry to hear that. I also lost my dog not so long ago. Tho he was very old, i grew up with him, but sadly his age really showed and he couldn't really see or hear anymore and he had a bad time. My grandpa put him to sleep while i was coming back from vacation and when i heard the news of it me as a "grown" man couldn't help but tear up too. If i knew he was going to be put to sleep beforehand i would have made his last days very good and would have played with him alot, but that opportunity was lost. I hope things get better for you and I'm sorry you had to experience this.

That stuff hurts. My childhood dog lived until I was an adult, and she died when she was almost 18 years old. She had a long life for a dog, but her death was too much. It's been 17 years since, and I haven't been able to get another dog. That's just me, and my emotional hangups. Zuma was lucky to have you, and it sounds like you were lucky to have her however short her time was.

Sorry to hear that. We lost our family dog to kidney failure last summer. He was 15. It's always very tough to go through losing them. Take you time to grieve. She isn't in pain anymore.

Maybe cause I didn't grow up with animals, I'm not pet type of guy. Don't really get the sentimentality behind it. People who love animals, LOVE animals. I was never that guy. But, it always amazes me the bond formed between the two. It's something I try hard to figure out how this bond is so strong. This video touched me and once again cements the magnitude of the bond between a owner and their pet as more than that. They are truly family. It pains me to see you like this and I'm very sorry for what happened to Zuma. May she be in a better place.

It's hard darling. I can't say anything to make it better or easier. I have a dog that weighs 120 lbs and is 17 years old human years. Vet tells me he shouldn't even be alive for as old as he is, let alone as healthy as he is. The vet says he should have been dead 5 or 6 years ago. I'm starting to see the signs now. I'm about to lose the best friend and the best partner I've ever had in my life ... Much better than any girl. It's going to be hard. I'm going to be a mess of emotions and cry a lot. I lost a lot of good Men in the military that worked under me. All good Men. It hurts Push past the hurt. Remember them fondly and with kindness and with all your heart. Cry when you need to .... Because they are with you anymore. Just don't forget them. And you remember that they always loved you as the leader of the pack.
