It makes you fat, literally kills your brain cells, ages your skin and hangovers are rough. Few people drink for the taste itself. It is intended to be for drunk for the social lubrication effects and to get drunk.

months late but bruh this is so good!!! i love the reincorporation of sayori's struggles in her relationship with mc, it's written so well and it makes the ending hit harder in the feels. i also appreciate the chilled out pace of the story i adore in the og ddlc and your careful writing of consent amongst the couple (fr it's such a breath of fresh air compared to most creepy shipping fanfiction i end up unfortunately reading 😔) insanely good work, definitely utilizing this as a reference for wholesome couple writing in the future
