its literally "The Thing meets Sonic". "The Thing" meeting any character is always good. It's why the old venom comics where he's stuck in a dogs body in the arctic eating/hunting researchers is so good. if that sound familiar its because that comic also drew inspiration from "John Carpenter's THE THING" a lot of modern day "body horror" stuff does. which is funny because when the movie came out it was considered a massive failure.... but over time became a cult classic.

@The Player The way you said this makes me realize a lot of the mod's cast fits with horror characters. Lord X has that nasty, sadistic Freddy Krueger feel, always having the upper hand in his own world of nightmares. Tails Doll feels like a mix of Chucky from Child’s Play (obvious) and Sadako from the Ring (a ghostly entity tied to a curse that allegedly jumps out of the screen to kill you). Fleetway is a textbook example of Dr. Jekyll & Mr. Hyde. I hopefully don’t have to mention how this works, because I don’t wanna feel old. Faker is, as you mentioned, the Thing. Starved, all about eating his victims, is Hannibal Lecter. Fatal Error is a corruptive egomaniac that feasts on the literal code of the game, breaking the fourth wall in a sense. Needlem0use is a mentally unstable puppet master that keeps tormenting her enemies in an endless hell. Both these characters fit the meta antagonists like Flowey from Undertale and Monika from DDLC. Yeah, Undertale’s not a horror game, but Flowey definitely has enough horror elements to him.

The thing might've been Lord X. Let me explain. It's canon Lord X created EXE, and due to his intelligence probably knew not to give EXE his own world. Meaning the setting of Faker and Black Sun are just PART of X's world, not another world. So X might've chased the duo into EXE's island after the events of Cycles, before letting them go as he knew what EXE would do to them.

Honestly seeing Exe re-emerge and starting to get implemented back into the fnf community this could pave the road for fnf mods and people seem to not realize it. People always seem to bury every controversial mod/character and remove it everywhere. Look what happened to the Vs Sky mod. Every trace of the mod and every skin for it has just been removed from Gamebanana. Just because a character or mod is controversial doesn't mean we can't have fun playing it. There are a lot of mods where more than one person work on it, the person that had the idea gets into some hot water, just like that every trace of the mod is gone.
