Changbin and Han are my biases in the group but Felix and Hyunjin CAME FOR ME with this comeback it took a few listens for the song to grow on me but now I love it so much! Straykids are gonna perform Maniac on the Late Show with Stephen Colbert. Major music outlets are predicting that they are strongly in the running to debut #1on the Billboard 200 chart next week - biggest competitor Lil Durk. STAYs will need to stream hard to make this a reality.

literally love all reactions where anitra and caitlyn are together!! I loved freaking out with you guys!! I am so excited to see your reactions to the other content that came before the MV release! I always have such a deep respect for you that you can avoid the teasers and unveils. Every comeback I try to avoid them but I’m always to tempted, it’s kind of like a new years resolution that I have never been able to fulfill so good one you for that one! On a slightly more serious note, I’m really sad that felix isn’t able to participate in the comeback (at least with stages) due to his back injury. I was genuinely tearing up when I first watched the MV because it’s so clear how much work he (and the others) put into it! I do hope that they incorporate him in someway, a comeback stage without all 8 just seems wrong. Also with all his intricate choreography and partner work with the others I am interested how that will translate with him taken out.. Sorry to be a downer like that..

About the birds: I'm from Germany and in Germany when someone is a maniac or is crazy you say 'einen Vogel haben', translated it is 'to have a bird' (idk). Or also them with a drill and 'one having a loose screw'? I don't really know if you say that in English but in German you definitely do if someone is a maniac and I instantly thought about that. I don't know if they actually thought about that when they showed those scenes, but it is pretty cool. So it also would make sense. In the real world you have your bird caged, to keep the crazy and oddinary in, but in the other world your bird and your craziness is free.

I watched the8’s new song before stray kids’ and I got to say I got the mother of all whiplashes. The tears the8 made me shed pretty much crawled back into my eyes every time they hip thrusted on this mv, I swear. 😂 Also, who the hell thought it was a good idea to put a god damn lip ring on Changbin on top of everything? My dear bias, have mercy on my poor heart! And, Caitlyn, I completely agree with you. They keep getting better and better. They reinvent themselves every comeback (and they’ve had a lot of comebacks lately), sounding different and new every time, but without losing who they are. Hi girls! Commenting as I go. I already watched the original MV, but only once, before this reaction, so there's a lot I certainly missed. I'm Hyunjin and Chan biased, with Felix and I.N as wreckers. I'd say the MV started pretty darn well. 😁 Oh God body rolls while I'm having my breakfast near my laptop! I love the drop and the dark electronic beat. Felix's voice enhances it even more . Red haired Hyunjin main dancer save me God. The Thunderous-style animations are so fun. Chan in blue with shredded pants. And all of them in leather... Parkour! The MC in my new writing project is a parkour enthusiast. Really appreciate it being used again, as in Miroh. I love urban settings. Lee Know killing it, then Hyunjin's close-up? I think "maniac" is what the neighbors will call me for hearing me clap and scream and giggle at your reaction with headphones 😂 That shot of Felix jumping close to the upturned city is iconic. Thumbnail worthy Final thought: I agree, in the real world it looks like everyone is trapped inside societal conventions, just like the birds in their cage. The song is an invitation to go beyond those barriers and let loose. Great watching with you, as usual

How is that not supposed to offend someone?? You’re the one choosing to watch a reaction that is clearly going to annoy you based on your no pause preference, so you watched it anyway and then took it a step further to leave a negative comment to someone who absolutely loves this group and was so excited and had so much fun enjoying this comeback.
