As a mom and a pediatrician who's met thousands of kids, I can say without prejudice that she is a fantastic mom, to have raised such great, kind, loving, mature kids. Her 12 and 14 year olds are full of love, without any attitude. They speak with a maturity I don't even see often in the 19-20 year olds I meet.

Married young, but he became a physician and she is a PhD psychotherapist....while having 6 kids..........that is a challenge.

It think it hugely depends on what parental support is available as to whether it is viable. They probably started young, so there would be relatives around. There is also a bit of a gap between her third child and the triplets, so some of the hard work would have been done with three kids. The older ones are now more independent, while, given their professions, they can probably afford paid help to assist with the younger children.

This was beautiful all around. When you see someone walk in with six kids, they're usually all over the place opinion wise. These kids were really sweet and 100% supportive. Even when the one girl wasn't keen on the first dress, she was negative about the dress and not about the person wearing it or how she looked in it.

Part of me wonders how they could be so well-behaved too. I have seen well-behaved children due to lots of discipline in religious households, but those children were like obedient, personality-less kids. The children here still had a spark of personality so not over-disciplined, thankfully. There is a balance and these parents found it. They need to write a book!

@@Lily_of_the_Forest A lot of parents just don't outline expectations to their kids before they go out in public. All it takes is just taking the kids aside before you go in and say "we behave like x in here, do well and we can go for ice cream afterwards"

@@MsJubjubbird I wish my parents were like that. My father was mean but never taught us. We’d act up and he’d react with mild violence. Nothing to call CPS over but it ruined all family outings. My too-kind mother was a doormat so she let us be spazzy. We were not cruel or destructive kids, but definitely disruptive. In this case we’d have been climbing on the couch, after taking off our shoes so no dirty marks, playing “Kleinfeld’s Floor Is Lava! AHH!” but not ripping or coloring on the dresses with permanent markers. Only a little bad 🤣
