The mom is not just annoying, is cruel and horrible to her own daughter. She is awful, I hope that it was for the camera and that she isn't that bad, that kind of mother can really damage a person self esteem, poor bride, she was so happy at the begining. 51 year old tomboy here, had never been told I was beautiful, pretty or even cute by my parents. Met my husband at 20, got married in our backyard at 24 in a wedding dress I bought from the clearance rack from a local shop. Paid $300 and loved the dress. Told no one I bought it and when the day came I was so scared I was sick. I will never forget the look on my husband’s face 😊. He told me he didn’t think it was possible for me to be more beautiful than I already was. ❤

i’m a tomboy as well, i have piercings and tattoos (not just for tomboys). my mom dislikes how i dress and always asks why i dress like a man. i met my partner two years ago and he makes me feel so pretty and loves how i dress. i love my mom dearly and i know she does too she just has a different way in showing it, but i thank my partner so much for making me feel what my mom didn’t express.

My mother exactly. I’m 72, she died last year at 96. My sister and I can attest to it, she never wished us well, or gave us a compliment. She never said I’m sorry or I’m wrong. She liked to reduce you to tears. Two days before she died, I said “mom I love you” she replied “I love me more”. She stayed true to her character right til the end. I feel for that bride. She looked amazing in dress #3. I envy people with a loving mother.
