Anyone else play Gundam Battle Assault? Treize piloted the Hydra gundam, and Valdor piloted a Psycho gundam variant (never made any sense because it was from UC.) Wish we could get another one with suits from lesser known series/side stories. Forever waiting to see G-Unit and Frozen Teardrop anime.

As soon as the Aescalapius went up for sale, I bought one. I haven't seen the manga or played the Cross Rays game either, but I couldn't pass up on an epic new HG design like the Aescalapius. I know there was an older HG kit that released in the late 90s, but I would consider this a completely new kit, because it's going to have nothing in common with that kit except for the colors and the overall design scheme. I can't wait to snap it together and add it to my growing Wing collection!

@@Matanumi Typical Chinese bootleg. Flimsy, brittle plastic and all that. Polycaps are a bit iffy too. But it works for the most part. Transformation is okay. It did get discolored easily though. Yellowing here and there.

fun fact, the pilot of the Leo-S (and leader of OZ Prize) ends up having to join MO-V and ends up becoming the pilot for the Gundam L.O. Booster, the final upgrade for Geminass Unit 01

@@crowedarken Griepe is a different unit altogether that Odel built himself and gave to Adin, meanwhile Geminass 01 and 02 are both made by Dr. Berg. 02 ended up as Aesculapius, which the data then used for Burnlapius. 01 ended up as LO Booster that Roche (Leo S pilot) use until the final battle.

The development history for these suits is kind of funny. The military was looking for an upgrade to the Leo and the tallgeese was recommended but was turned down. As they are building the suit the military keeps giving their input. R&D team jumps through a bunch of hoops just to basically build the tallgeese so the team lead gets mad and quiets. So when it was stated "Half Tallgeese" in the video it was basically a true statement.

oh, another fun-fact, the Leo-N gets its bulky look by using the arms and legs from a Tragos, and the Leo-R has the arms and legs modified from an Aries' arms and legs. oh and the Leo-S is said to be on par with the Tallgeese.

Destiny Heero Prime Oh as a whole kit, definitely good! I was just saying the beam musket itself is what I love the most but I wouldn’t pay the full retail just for that weapon. Still, the entire thing still looks great with that price!

I agree, considering it uses a lot of that kind of trashy gold plastic and the red could use some work too, this doesn't feel that 'premium' as kits go, as cool as the design is. It seems like it'd need a fair amount of repainting and colour correction to look even sort of premium.

Just built one and realized that the side skirt mounting joint is the original leo's ankle joint, they repurposed it as side skirt mount, as that part came from the original leo b runner instead of the new d1 and d2 runners, as the leo s got new ankle joints that gave it side to side ankle tilt.

Of course, if you know your "Gundam Wing" lore, you'd know that the Leo-series of mobile-suits are low-power, pared-down versions of the original Tallgeese, which was so powerful and such a beast to operate that it would take a toll on any ordinary schlub who tried to pilot it. Hence why the guys who ended up piloting it were no ordinary schlubs. The same might hold true with the Leo-S and its variants... gotta love them "Red Comet, Only Not" Char Clone mobile-suits. >w>

The HG Leo is the BEST HG hands down no argument. THe kit is simple but fun. Great for veterans and newbies of Gunpla. The articulation is somehow basic but god tier at the same time. The kit does everything youd ever want it to do hell its prolly one of if not the only kit you could legit "play" with as a toy its that solid. So if you cant get this Pbandai just go buy the $13 HG Leo.

The problem with games blending the unis is wing is op. Remember wing zeros buster rifle can blow up a colony in one shot. Even a ships main cannon can't do that in the other series.
