I can see your point, when you said music here in Asia is therapeutic .. Here in the Philippines, we love to make songs based on our experiences (good or bad), there'll always be a meaning behind each songs.. Sejun, the leader, is SB19's main lyricist and music arranger.. For him, music is medicine. SB19's goal is to inspire people through their craft.. That's why you can feel it in their music 💙😊

I only learned of SB19 around Nov of 2021 when I read a Billboard article about them but have been a dedicated A'tin from the US since then. You’re right about therapeutic songs. We love listening to songs that help us get by everyday. Like for example SB19’s Go Up. It’s a story of trying to reach for a dream, the struggles, and the hurdles that will come along but you just keep moving up the ladder, one step at a time. You tell yourself, “ I’m not gonna give up. Im not gonna stop. I’m gonna follow my heart. I’m gonna go up!” This song is everyone’s song cause at one point in our lives, we’ve all had this kind of hardship. And listening to SB19 made us realize, yes, I’m doing the right thing.
