Turning 52 this August makes me almost 3 times 18 (A'TIN). Definitely no longer a fanboy . So fantito? Just want to confirm that SB19's support/fan base transcends generational lines. The wiser i.e. older supporters like me I know are mostly low key and prefers to leave the chanting and all to the young ones. But we're definitely here! How can you not love a homegrown talent like SB19? They so much deserve the fame, success and admiration. If only because they make countless people feel good, inspired and happy in this time of uncertainty.

I'm a senior citizen and I can still appreciate their dance and most of all their singing especially their harmony when they are singing ballad songs. Going through 4 yrs of training of vocal and dance isn't easy as korean coaches are very demanding and tough.

This group is under a Korean Ent. They were trained for 3-4 years in the Philippines under the Korean training system before they debuted. It took a while before they got noticed in the Philippines. These guys are amazing. They always give quality performances. They are very talented and smart. I hope they can be recognized internationally.

I understand there were more than 100 applicants when the company started paring them down to what is now 5. Ken (the main dancer) was the last addition to the group. So many of them gave up and quit because of the rigorous training and as what the members said, some of them just couldn't take it anymore.

Training 3-4 year's Other auditionees couldn't handle the stress, exhausted of training. More than 400 total of auditionees something like that. False information not just 100

"Suntok sa Buwan" means "Punching the Moon". An impossible way. "Hugot", pulling out, drawing out your emotions. You might have heard or will hear about "Hugot Lines". Catchphrases, quotes specifically about love. Their debut song Tilaluha is one such song that talks about unrequited love. Tilahula/Stop-tears Thanks guys for watching them. "Hugot" is basically what makes Filipino songs really Filipino. It's basically expressing your experiences and deep-seated feelings in a manner that strikes the listener deeply--basically anything that is scathing. It's often used to reference heartbreaks, love issues, tragedies and failures. It's not limited to sad thoughts though--anything loaded with strong feelings and is delivered with an eloquent impact can be a hugot. As long as it feels like you're drawing your heart out to express it, we call it hugot. It does not only apply to lyrics as it is popular in dramas, spoken poetry and well, we even have games about throwing around "hugot" lines for fun. "Go Up" is actually their 2nd single, not their 1st song. It is especially loaded with hugot regarding how the team faced discouragement, mockery, and criticism as they weren't exactly welcomed warmly when they debuted. You heard a part of their debut single "Tilaluha" when their main vocalist sang it as demonstration for his talent in the interview. Expression and emotional delivery is great for hugots so most Filipino artists do it like that. Actually in their song Alab (Burning) the main vocalist is the one who choreograph that song which is Stell. SB19 position are very confusing like all the members can be a vocalist, rapper and dancer by the way thank you for reacting to our boys, hope more SB19 contents.

1) i dont think they ever explained why but in the i feel U interview (this is a recent interview if you have time please check it out) they placed all the members' official positions in the group including justin's: lead rapper, main visual, vocalist and youngest member. that and they had a different intro before, and the way they say said introductions also vary but the positions stay the same 2)they previously had 7 members before they debuted officially as SB19 with 5 members, before that they were part of hundreds of trainees and hopefuls who audiitioned to their company ShowBT 3) the choreography came from the main vocal stell but they helped each other a lot during the choreography, they give ideas to each other

"Suntok sa buwan" translated literally in english means "punch the moon". Well, you can't really punch the moon so it refers to someone's attempt at a long shot or a one-in-a-million chance at something that he/she desires. A similar English phrase would be "to shoot for the moon."

Do they have covers on YT when they were in the dance group? After hearing them talk about the training regiment they go through and seeing the dance performance I now know how "clean"they are at dancing. I have put the song and link on the list. Thank you for the recommendations.
