It's funny that your trying to learn the song in Tagalog. They've mentioned in interviews that when they went on tour, especially in the USA that they were touched by so many non-Filipino fans that memoriized and sang the lyrics, even the rap parts, along with them in their concerts. They tend to do this to you. The songs get into your head and you start to sing along! That's what I like about SB19!

Mapa has double meaning. Mapa is a Fil word for map and split the 2 syllables for addressing mother as Ma and father as Pa. Pablo’s written songs such as Mapa, SLMT, Nyebe, Gento, Liham have metaphors being a college graduate of Eng-Lit. During Covid where everybody was not allowed to go out he asked his fellow members what kind of song they would like and so Mapa was created as a tribute to their parents whom they didn’t see for quite a while. It is an emotional song that defines a map or journal of advices from parents to carry and remember as they travel and along with it to take over the responsibilities to parents. Another beautiful song by Pablo. This man never fails to amaze me. Stell (their lead vocalist) says that one day, when the boys were at a laundromat, Pablo suddenly asked them, "What would you like to tell your parents?" This was a time when they weren't home often because of busy schedules and also the pandemic. What they said made their way to this song which has been translated by fans into their own languages. The Japanese one even reached 1M views on YT. This is how much it has touched people's lives. You're reactions are always meaningful and heartfelt.
