We did our best to capture the true essence of SB19’s songs, and we really hope the KZbin gods allow this video to stay up! A huge thank you to everyone who shared their concert footage and live moments of SB19. It's me again. 😊The silver lining from your first upload having to be taken down is that the noticeable absence of 💌LIHAM has been fixed! Woot! No review of SB19's musical timeline would be complete without LIHAM, which in my book is the most beautiful song by SB19 to date. I mean, if your video didn't leave out WAG MONG IKUNOT ANG IYONG NOO (likely to Josh's disappointment), then you surely had to show LIHAM the love it deserves. And show it proper love you did! I'd like to commend you specifically for the English translations you made for Liham, which I dare say are an improvement over the subtitles currently around (on the official lyric video and the Wish Bus performance). I'm a stickler for translations that must accurately convey not just the meaning of the lyrics, but must also preserve as much of the poetry and figurative language as possible. Just to give one example: you've correctly rendered "nagbabalatkayong himala" as "a miracle in disguise" -- this is sadly mistranslated as "disguised as a miracle" in the current subs, which has been a frustrating point for me. Oh, and I have to thank you for actually showing an image of a manananggal when you cover MANA! Soooo many foreign reactors I've seen clearly don't get to appreciate the brilliance of Mana's theme and metaphor because they can't visualize the creature (despite my attempts in comment sections to describe the manananggal, along with urging them to look it up online). Now I just have to get them to see your guide to SB19's discography! Anyway, big THANKS again for this wonderful gift of a documentary and all your efforts in support of Mahalima! ✌😊🙏

Wow, that was long. Great job on doing the research and putting the video together. I can clearly see the hardwork invested in this. Ditto on everything you said at the end that the true meaning of an artist is not just about popularity and being famous but all about being able to inspire and influence other artists and your listeners or audiences. This perfectly encapsulates the legacy that our boys (forever be boys in my eyes) are carving into everyone's hearts. As a music enthusiast, I've been a fan of a lot of global artists of my generation and beyond and I'm not ashamed to admit that I was not into OPM before because I was raised and exposed to western culture (movies, music, tv shows) more than my own. For me, it was cringey. I'm not proud of this but that moment when I saw SB19 perform Go Up and Love Goes in the KZbin Fan Fest was the pivotal point for me. I felt proud that my "Kababayans" are representing me, us, every Filipinos on that stage and people abroad are loving their sound. This triggered me to start watching reaction videos and there was a point where I defended them in the comments section because these bunch of reactors (who were also performers) labelled them as "trying hard". As someone who never really comments and was just silently following their journey, for the first time I was compelled to defend and explain the meaning of "What?" to them because they talk over the song and didn't even try to understand what the song meant. It infuriated me. After that comment, it caught the attention of many OG A'tin and showed me love. I became an A'tin as well. 💙 Funny how I received a notification recently of someone commenting on that comment i posted 3 years ago and asked me "so, did you become and A'tin?" and I replied with a vigorous YES! It's also funny that the songs of those reactors (performers/singers) who indirectly called them as basically the "poor man's BTS" are still nowhere near the success that our boys have achieved. They were talented, don't get me wrong but to underestimate our boys just because they're big fans of Kpop is not necessary. They were apologetic in the video but I had to give them my two sense in that comment (respectfully, of course). Now, I support many OPM artists and PPop groups. Wow, that was a long comment. What I'm trying to convey is that for me, there can only be one Pinoy boy group who I'll be stanning this hard in my lifetime. When I mean hard, I mean making me want to comment, engage, go to shows, buy merch, vote, stream, stand in line for a long time, and just fanboy like nobody's business. They made this introvert and home buddy want to go out of his comfort zone and join fan groups just to get updates on the boys. You were right when you said they're one in a generation and I'm so blessed to have known their music. This video is very timely with the celebration of their anniversary and a full circle moment for me too. More power to your channel and thank you for always championing not just our boys but the whole Filipino music industry. 🥹🙏🏼

The beauty of this documentary is that it highlights how strong their live vocals are. By combining numerous live videos together you hear how consistent their vocals are! Doing a deep dive into the meaning of each song just shows how deverse and meaningful their music is! My only criticism is of Liham. It's actually another dedication to A'tin. If you listen to the lyrics as a fan it hits you hard. Thanks for this deep dive!

Wow! What a great compilation! I didn't even notice that it's an hour-long documentary. That's just how interesting SB19 is. I love how you included the stories behind the music through the boys' interviews. As an A'tin, I will always be grateful to have witnessed SB19 in my lifetime. They are really gold when it comes to music, dance, and storytelling. They are true artists with depth and wisdom. And it's crazy how consistent they've been with their goal of uplifting the Filipino music industry and making it known to the world. Just search through their multiple interviews even at the start of their career. They were built to laser-focus on that collective goal. In such a cut-throat industry, they chose to love and nurture it. "Mahal namin ang industry talaga. Mahal namin" as Pablo says it. That love emanates through their humility and generosity towards their co-artists and respect for the legends before them.
