Rewatching them sharing their stories on how they become part of SB19 made me so so proud of my bias again and again. Imagine, he had a bad childhood, that made him tough and brave in life but that didn't stop him from having a big heart. He's tough but still so kind-hearted.

2:24 In the Philippines, “loveteams” is a huge thing indeed, especially in show business. When one joins showbiz, they somewhat become ‘publicly owned’. The “fans” feel entitled to know what’s going on in their idol’s life, to the point of sometimes controlling who they should have a relationship with. So yeah, i think that is the reason why the boys chose to keep that part of their lives private. For now, i am proud to at least say that the A’Tin fandom, while we have our delulu moments, we don’t impose that the boys should not have girlfriends yet. Personally, i am excited for that time when our boys find someone special who would inspire and make them happy. I am especially excited for Stell to finally meet you. 🥰🥰🥰 #Stellraira for the win!

@@HurrairaJamal I haven’t subscribed anyone yet, too. And will also subscribe soon because I constantly hear our kaps about the hub, how Josh always share life experiences and lessons. But the most part I am excited to witness or experience are the interactions in the hub, they are all just friends, not an idol-fan thing. For some, they said Josh is like their older brother and for the others, they said he’s just a best friend. Isn’t it great? We have 5 kind and humble gentlemen with different personalities and we get to experience all of that. 🥰 Sometimes I envy our kaps (but in a positive way) but I understand that the hub is a safe place for the boys. So that’s my next goal, because you know everyone has priorities in life.

Yay! One of my fave interviews, especially because of dinosaur Stell. Hahaha! That aside, the interview was really great and the boys were really comfortable so they were able to share more of about their lives. Stell grew up in a very happy and sweet family so it's no wonder he's able to radiate that warmth to everybody, especially to A'tin. I remember there was one interview during the pandemic that they were asked what activities do they want to do when the covid restrictions would eventually be lifted and he said he wanted close interactions with A'tin (like an event where they will gather A'tin and play games with them). I was really amazed that that was his wish. What celebrity would want that?

I never seen josh as an overly dramatic when it comes to him telling his struggle bout his life when he was young. because NO one can fully describe how much pain and suffering he'd been through only him can tell and if anyone who questions it i dare yall to expirience the same thing and still be like josh, how he think, how he treats people how hes still positive in life. Coz if not your no better than him!

Even Pablo knows how josh convinces him that they can do it. I'm so glad also stell and josh met also his other sb19 brothers. Josh is the one opens my heart on SB19.

TBH, in PH, love teams and pairings are very popular and encouraged so when I became an a'tin I also got confused why "some" fans hated it if they get linked to anyone (to a point that some bashed whoever is linked to them) I guess that's the reason why they had to hide it and lie? Or I guess for privacy reasons as well. Anyway, I think these boys worked so hard and they deserved to have someone too. As long as they are happy, I am happy. :)

Filipino artists are usually open about their relationships and breakups. I think in Filipino culture we are too transparent and vocal to be hiding romantic relationships . Artists usually have the choice how much they share . I think with boy bands especially the popularity of sb19 being private is really to protect their partners/girlfriends if they are dating from that glare of the spotlight . Eventually the boys will have to start another phase of their lives marry and start a family but I think they are focus on their career now.

Thank you very much for your diligence in unearthing everything SB19! I have not come across this interview before and it is certainly one of the best so far. They laid it bare, no guise! But what I also appreciated is that what they said then… remains consistent to what they say now. Humble and transparent as always! And separately, I appreciate how the host (or maybe the editing?) managed this convo - it wasn’t rushed, great pointed questions, and each member was given the time to fully complete their replies. All around, great find!

Since they are “public figure now”, the masses or the people as in the Philippines are entitled to know even their private lives. BUT, still it depends on the artists. Just saying.
