They were clearly in a rut, as were we all during those times. They are always so brutally honest though, which I've got to give them credit for!
I am so soooooo glad that Stell got his 'glow' back, because what would we do with him?! I seriously can't even imagine not 'knowing' him like he is now. It hurts to think he hit such lows in his life :(

When this interview first came out and I watched it, I was very concerned for Stell. He seemed very withdrawn and definitely not himself. I had heard about him being terribly bashed, and I remember when they were celebrating one of their anniversaries as a group, Stell seemed very down (he was wearing a beret and was looking depressed). I am so glad that he is doing well now and has so much more confidence. He is so talented and deserves all the good things coming his way. And I hope he knows he was just as handsome back then as he is now. He has great personality and character.

This was the time when he was cyber bullied, the Zepetto incident . We were so mad at those people who bashed and bullied him, the fact that those nay sayers were from inside the fandom. It crushed his confidence and broke his heart and soul. Stell withdrew himself from the world, he became emotionally and socially detached to everybody including his Esbi brothers. It's so obvious in this particular interview that he's having some internal battles.His gestures and his eyes says it all. The part when he said his glow had faded like a broken lightstick, it broke my heart again to see and hear our Sunshine lost his glow...That's why we, his berries are so protective of him and we promised not to let that kind of incident happen again to him and even to the rest of Mahalima.

Reading your comment got me teary eyed again its always painful to watch stell not his cheerful self. So glad and thankful that he overcome all of that. 🙏🏼🍓

@@PinayPenguin-yl7cusame here. I tried to search online, but got nothing. Oh well, what we don’t know won’t hurt us nlng siguro. My first bias was Stell because of that harsh interview during their launch. 😭 I remember how protective I was of him. So yeah, this Parsinq interview (my first time to watch here) is a little different, especially Stell. He isn’t shining here at all, he is very quiet, it’s heartbreaking. 💔💔💔 The group atmosphere is very gloomy without our Sunshine boy. This is just another proof that our Stellberry is really the mood-setter of the group. It’s such a relief Stell got his confidence back.

It will be understandable and forgivable if they have at least 1% of these boys' talent. And 1% is saying a lot! 😤 I just love the thought that they're eating their words now. 🤭

Their parents and family are their strongest support system. These boys won't go wrong coz they were raised properly. Kudos to their moms especially. They will always stay grounded because of their upbringing.

Finally! My request! I love you Hurraira! This was Stell in his depressed era, not really because of the bashing, I feel like, but more on not being able to release his enormous energy because of the Covid restrictions that he can't meet people that much physically. Despite this being the most awkward interview they've had, imho, this showed their depth as a person, esp. Stell. People perceive him as a happy go lucky person, and as he puts it, someone you can't take seriously, however, after this interview, I viewed him as the smartest in the group, not only in being street smart, but also emotionally. And you could see in some international interviews, although he wasn't the most fluent, he's mostly the one who understands the questions very well because he's very attentive. The way he answers questions with such depth amazed me to the core. Even Pablo was amazed and his answers have picked up from the way Stell answered. My favorite part of Stell's character is not his humor, but his knack for reading the room. He knows when situations get awkward and will always save the group in different situations (except for this one coz obviously, he'd rather be anywhere but here). Now we all see how awkward interviews are without Stell's humorous personality in play. 😢

I was super sad for STELL at that era! There was no glow in his eyes, there's no happiness in his smile. It was painful to watch him in this interview. Thank God that he was able to overcome it . We will protect our Sunshine at all cost and the boys.

This just highlights the depth of Stell's contribution to the group dynamics, here, Pablo and Justin were doing much of the talking. The few interjections by Stell gave the other four something to latch onto and expound upon. Even as down as he was, he truly gave them all food for thought to be better in explaining themselves. As mentioned by another commenter, Stell may not be the most fluent, but he has that talent of capturing the interviewers intent, and answering that interviewer's intention. I hope that the bond beyween them doesn't fray but instead continue to be strong. As one of the silent A'tins, this interview was the one that truly convinced me of their true, wholesome and supportive qualities.

Unfortunately there were a lot of times when Stell looked.. broken where he would stare into space and not talk especially during the pandemic. Thank God for his brothers for finding ways to cheer him up especially Ken. I definitely love how both of them would be each other's source of strength. For instance in their 2nd anniversary live, when Ken noticed Stell having one of those days, he stood from the opposite end of the couch to go where Stell is to cheer him up. Minutes after, Stell was all smiles again and became very active.

Ken and Stell are each other's happy pill. Every time I see them lift each other up, my heart swells with joy. This was very evident very early on in their career, way back in their South Korean vlogs. I am so glad they found each other.

29:11 i love how ken started with a genuine compliment then pablo continued with a joke that just made stell light up. even in the 2nd anniv live they had, it was ken that started to make sure stell was getting in the mood then pablo continued with his silliness 😂

In many interviews, you can see that Justin acts as Pablo’s assistant. He sometimes has to start the ball rolling, then Pablo takes control. Then the bunso (youngest) can be the baby again.

Ooh! I love protective Hurraira. Thanks, lady, for wanting to be an avenging Angel for the guys. I feel the same way but I have seen how the A’tin are, they’re wonderfully protective. They make short work of the nasty people. I mean, fair criticism is fine but step over that line and they’re toast. A’tin already has a rep for their protectiveness so much so that I noticed other are trying to take advantage of it-bashing our boys for clout-good thing many have also levelled up and are trying to ignore those types.

Wow! Another interview I haven’t seen. At 25:56 when Pablo said his best compliment, I tear up a bit. During pandemic, Stell really went through depression. Also, maybe because after many months this is the first time they will be together in an interview and he is back again from the start. Conscious and lack of confidence.

They were forced to stop their training as one group being sent to their homes during pandemic and for only few circumstances like this interview, that they had the chance to be together again as one group. Their morale is low during this pandemic.

It is easy to overlook what Pablo is doing here as being playful and insensitive but in reality, he knows himself each and every members weakness and insecurity and he being seemingly downplaying that, he is actually being strong not letting each members feed off of that negativity as he knows he himself is going through the same exact thing and the only way to conquer it is to not let yourself be consumed by it.

I don't even understand why Stell needed to face those criticisms back then. Maybe it's because people at that time were accustomed to the K-pop standard where everyone should be visually appealing. Even their own fellow pinoy criticized their looks. They didn't deserve that hate, but perhaps it became a way for them to improve and strive for better. Anyway I enjoy this reaction video, and I'm waiting for more yeeyyy❤

Thank you for getting to this interview! I love them here because they are so, so real. Also, how much the boys protect Stell here. There’s a reason (I think) why Ken was beside Stell. He was so down here, basing on the second anniversary live (I hate that livestream because it hurts to see him that way) and his birthday that year. Ken was his protector then, then Justin made him stay at their house during the next round of lockdowns. It was only after this he began to perk up and then seeing him break down during the What? Making Film, it still makes me tear up. He’d been through so much! I’ve watched Stell’s face after that year. He’s so much a barometer of how the group is feeling in general and it always makes me happy to see our Sunshine happy.

What I really like about SB19 is that they’re true to themselves and open and honest to others. They’re just genuine people. Watching this interview, there was such a heavy feel to it and you can see Pablo being the leader and trying to lighten the mood. I think that’s why their answers were so introspective is because at that point they were all doing self-searching. In this way, it was a good interview because you discover a lot about how they really feel and think.

They seem in tuned with each other and fill in when others need lifting up. While stell is going through something, pablo is being the happy pill of the group and ken was actively engaging and attentive to stell. And justin fussing over their hair and wardrobe. It's not an ideal seating position but i it's nice having the 2 eldest take the lead in front, almost like shielding the rest. It's a bittersweet thing to watch but it's easier now that they're in a better position, career-wise and mentally.

Stell is experiencing self issue that time and now glad that he overcomes it.. I think Ken helps him that time bcoz he mentioned that Ken give him advice
