Basically they all know how to speak English, it is just that working with Tatang Robin and probably other Korean staffs, they have to speak in broken English so they can understand each other and somehow got used to talking that way. But now they are more fluent and getting better handling their interviews. No matter what, foreigner interviewers do understand them and get entertained as well. Their charming personalities are so evident.

YES! I love this interview. The spacing out is real. They were being interviewed the entire day and this was the last one, ending at almost midnight. Afterwards they tweeted they were going on an FB live so we could listen to the Spotify launch together. Best memories on this day. 💙

Based on the boys’ interviews with local and intl media, I have noticed that they are never boring. They are always animated, fun, everyone has always something to share. I say this bec some artists when interviewed are “one question-one answer” deals. With these boys, you’d never know that they’re exhausted from all their media runs that day. Their English communication skills might be lacking in the early years but look how much they’ve improved. 😊 So proud of them!

Early interviews showed that they are fluent in English but just needed to hone their translation skills. But one thing’s for sure that has remained consistent with SB19 is their humility, sincere honesty, gratefulness, and determination to show the world how music can bring everyone together. And with A’tin’s support and their brotherly ❤️- there will always be strength in numbers. Another thing I ❤️ about them is that they don’t shy away from touching or hugging each other which shows a deep bond without toxic masculinity. They genuinely appreciate each other’s contribution to the group. And I admire that in them.👏🏼👏🏼💪

Love this. So true. I think they just needed to get out of their heads at the beginning of interviews before. I mean at that point in time how much of a big deal was it for a band to be interviewed in these mainstream international media right?! They must have been so overwhelmed and in disbelief. Also, I think like most people with English as their second language, they would think too much to translate what they have in their minds at first. Later on in the conversation I think the gears switch to them just speaking the language naturally. In the many interviews I have seen of them the common denominator would be how they would always end up chatting like they have been friends with the interviewers for a long time. At a certain point in the interviews something just happens so that even the most indifferent hosts would end up so endeared with them. These boys 🥹

The interview was very informative, especially for the new fan. The interviewer was nice and had done his research on the boys. He listened attentively, even when they took longer to explain their answers. This is one of my favorite interviews I have ever watched. I’m happy to watch it with you again.

This interview is one of my favorites! Love the vibe, it really did seem like they were just chatting amongst friends. But this reminds me of their LIVESTREAM afterwards, since the interview finished almost midnight, just before the drop of the Pagsibol EP. Hope you can find an english subbed version of that live, they cracked me up on that one! Maybe because they had been up soooo late and tired already, but there was just no filter to how chaotic they were on that one! 😂😂😂

I do understand when you said their innocence is so attractive because now adays its rare for an adults to have the right kind of innocence. When almost everybody are putting out a tough persona probably because of life challenges but that's why its refreshing to see that no matter how tough life have been for them, they still show real happiness, child-like excitement, they're sad when something's wrong and it shows, and yet they still have that "moving forward" type of attitude and demeanor and to me that also shows the strength of their characters
