I already heard about SB19 during their Go Up hype. And I felt positive energy from them in their TV guesting that time. Then, that's it, years passed. Then I stumbled on their Mapa single. That's when I entered the blackhole of SB19, learning the name of fandom is A'tin, and learning all their sacrifices, etc. The twist: I am currently at crossroads. I have been living away from PH going 5 years, here in Barcelona. I have been long thinking to divert from my dreams as I start doubting myself with seemingly far-fetched visions in my mind. As I continued watching them in interviews, I cried with their journeys. Up to this interview, SB19 never fails to give that positivity and fighting spirit. Just can´t help but you will naturally become an A´tin, as in my case. Yes, they have inspired me to believe once again in myself... So I will continue pursuing my dreams while supporting SB19 until they reach their well-deserved world domination.

What makes SB19 stand out from the rest is yung ability nila to make things lighter. Kagaya nalang ng way nila magkwento, hindi mo mararamdaman ‘yung hirap kasi aside sa pag share nila ng story nandyan ‘yung pag motivate nila at pagpapakita na despite the struggle, nakaya nila at kaya mo rin. Sa lahat ng interviews nila most question ay naitanong na before pero ‘yung way nila mag answer even though same context nandon parin ‘yung aral na matutunan at laging may dagdag from what we’ve heard sa mga nauna. Nakakaproud lang kasi we literally saw them bloom. from being just the back up to being the center and the standard. They’re the living proof of God’s perfect timing kung maniniwala ka at pagsisikapan mo.

Remember that the father of Philippine painting, Damian Domingo, also took advantage of the of the Western knowledge in arts to open opportunity for other Filipino artists to hone their talent and skills. The Spaniards thought that he's a Spanish because of his meztiso looks. He was able to showcase his talent. They trusted him and commissioned him to paint for them. Then later, he founded and became the director of the first ever official Philippine art academy. His students are people of all kind. He make art accesible for everyone especially for indio. The lesson here is, we are all influenced by anyone but as an individual, as a Filipino, SB19 took that korean training as an advantage and used that influence to make their own art, to show the potential of every Filipinos to the world.

It’s sad that PPOP lacks government support and funding na nga tapos pati mainstream media, hindi pa sila mabalita ng tama. SB19 ang nagpakahirap itaguyod ang PPOP sa loob at labas ng bansa pero para ano? Idiscredit yung international recognitions at contributions nila sa industry? Hindi basta-basta ‘yung nabigay nilang parangal sa Pilipinas. No one is doing it like SB19. Magugulat ka sa laki ng influence at fame nila sa China, Japan, at Indonesia. Even Thai actors, bukambibig na ang SB19. They earned the respect of OPM legends. Napakahaba na ng listahan ng awards at achievements nila. Kpop idols, SB19 ang gustong makatrabaho. Tapos kapwa Pilipino pa ang humihila sa kanila pababa? It’s so hard to love this country. Parang lahat na lang tungkol sa business at pera. Just recently Ken/Felip nag-#6 sa worlwide itunes album chart, Nag-#8 sa top spotify debut albums global, Nag-#1 sa CDJapan na ikinaloka ng CDJapan kasi that’s a first for a Filipino artist. Pero walang nagbalita. Isang member pa lang yan ng SB19 ha.
