They're actually good in speaking English .. but, just like what you said, sometimes we can convey properly what we want to say because it's not our first language .. it just have be understandable .. it spiced up interviews, in a funny way 😊

there's just much pressure and tension on interviews considering you only have few secs to think the reason why thoughts may get everywhere. we all can relate haha when I say there's no dull moments with these boys i mean it, if only all interviews or live have eng subs you'll really laugh so hard and get to enjoy more of their personalities.

English is our second language but sadly a lot of filipinos are too shy in speaking it or we don't really get the chance to practice it verbally. I think it has something to do with smart-shaming. Smart-shaming was a pretty common thing that occured (at least to me) back in highschool. It's when people sarcastically compliment you when you're making a speech or talking in english. I really don't know how to explain but I guess one of the common phrases would be, "wOw englisH" everytime someone catches you speaking in English in a normal conversation. It's like when people make such a big deal out of it when you speak it. It made me avoid speaking in full English verbally with my friends.

70 percent of Filipinos can speak english very well,,, but to our daily lives we speak english mix to our own language, and we are very concious talking straight english cause a lot of Filipino are very particular with grammar, intonation, diction, pronounciation. sad to say most Filipino laugh if you do it wrong.
