My take on this is Regine recognizes the importance of not overshadowing the original singers of the song they’re performing together. She still did shine very brightly here while showing the world that the boys of SB19 are the gold standard of PPOP. Win-win sila pareho and we are all super proud! 💙

it was the perfect collaboration, perfect harmonization, so PROFESSIONALLY done. I can tell that Regine's voice placing was different at merong pigil so as not to over empower SB19 but the arrangement made their voices shine through. Well, we all know that SB19 dances at the same time can carry some heavy tunes...as the saying goes "they can saaaannggggg. Towards the end lyrics when she said "mahal kita" you can feel the power of her voice at that point at those low notes. This was really a delicious collaboration and far way better compared to her collab with 98 degrees back then where the latter became her background singers.

I dont think its because of aging. Ms regine really created the balance with the boys to make them shine. Normal na manglamon si regine sa collab like this pero di nya ginawa. Hindi nya nang steal ng spotlight by being balanced with the boys. She has reached the top level so she doesnt need to flex her vocal prowess :)
