I really like how it's turning out! Thing is I don't want to take my loader apart to add the extra wires! Think I will get the track loader next and build it to run the blower😊

Perfect Job! Works great😎 I just stumbled about your channel, but it's a collection of gread DIY Projects... Unfortunately I've to convince my wife that I need a new 3D Printer... My old Anet A8 is not really easy to handle for such complex prints like your loader...

HAHA great job it works well!! apart from the unpleasant noise lol. but you need what you need! I like the improvement on the trough and the snow projection. It’s impressive how effective and powerful it is! the only thing that is a little annoying and which also annoys me on the loader is the swing and the slack in the lifting arm and the quick attach. on my vulpa I want to insert metal plates like the v505 shovel. also on the quick attach. but overall I love it Lasse!!

thanks :) yeah, I agree about the loaders. The steering solution with actuators was really bad :( however there's community mods for that in my facebook group :) where you replace the actuator with a motor or servo instead ;) Steel plates will really help, so Im glad to hear you wanna install some :D

Great machine, congratulations. Is it possible to reduce this terrible noise?

Did you mount the esc’s in the blower or is there space in the loader
@burnie222rclasseanhanger616 сағат бұрын
I put the ESC's inside my loader :) theres plenty of space in it

here are my suggestions that i said i had in the precedent video. 1.The first recommendation i wanted to make is that the auger was supposed to be 180 degres appart, but that seems to be already mentionned. 2. Bigger fan blade means much bigger throw distance, but much lower torque. so as you might have already see, your current version throw like 8 feets far, but as soon as the blower gets a little more snow, it bugs down. Think of the fan blade like a lever. the longer the lever, the more torque you need to lift the same weight. This causes 2 fenomenon : A - With that setup, even your 80T motor must be drawing almsot 20A if not more, which will drain your battery in around 15 minutes if you use a 5000mA/h battery. B - At 20A, your motor will most likely self destroy within the first 5 hours of use. The brushes will wearout in no time (most likely). My recommendation for point #2 : I propose to you to make a reduction belt system, maybe 2:1 to decrease the fan blade speed. This would maybe throw the snow 4 feets far, but it would double the snow volume output, and prolong the motor life span, while draining less amps. According to me, i believe that around 80% of users in the RC world would not see the use of throwing the snow 8 feet far, and would prefer the better snow volume. The other option would be to make the fan blade smaller. This would reduce the load on the motor and the current, but i think the snow volume would decrease a bit too. Therefore, i think the first solution would be the best. I hope to not be roasted on this one...

Yes I was into the same thougths. The blower seems to work all fine , even on the bogged down motor at lower RPM. So your idea of some reduction between motor an auger seems like a good idea. Or a motor with lower RPM and higher torque. What about using a brushless outrunner= High torque and 'low' PRM?
@picopharade127217 сағат бұрын
Yep a brushless motor outer runner would have a lot more torque, but it would be more expensive too

aha ! thank you for the tips my friend :D and I agree with you, I noticed the impellermotor got pretty hot yesterday. I want it to turn a bit slower too. So I will try to find a 3:1 or 2:1 reduction for it just to test it. And I might have to move the Impellermotor too but we will see :D and again, no-one is roasting you!! quit being such a dramaqueen dude 🤣🤣🤣 thanks for the tips! Keep them coming! :D

@@AndersSande hmmmm . brushless could be really good, youre into something here. thanks for sharing the thoughts :D

I agree, that impeller motor isn't designed for such WOT usage. A Surpass outrunner from Amazon isn't that expensive, and something like a Mamba Micro ESC could likely handle the control duties and barely get warm. I've seen toothed belt drives to replace the spur/pinion on the old Associated/Axial 3-gear transmissions, that would likely be plenty of reduction as well to stick with brushed. They make kits for fullsize blowers where you bolt pieces of rubber to the impeller blades so they almost touch the inside of the housing. This greatly increases throw distance and chute evacuation efficiency. Once you get the torque issue figured out, either add on TPU flaps or the original impeller design might be more suitable. As for the loader drooping, wear plates of something like PTFE bolted to the blower housing so it has something to slide on, and some play in the mounting to the loader so the blower floats on said slides will eliminate the uneven cutting and snagging of the low corner.
