One of the responding San Bernardino NF (SBNF or BDF in 3 letter ID system) Type III engines is BDF-333. Mormon Rocks is Station 33 and has this engine, a patrol unit and a water tender. It is located about 1.5 miles west of I-15 on CA Hwy 138. Engine 333 has the most responses for any engine in the U.S. Forest Service nationwide. It covers I-15 from just north of the I-215 junction to nearly the top of Cajon Pass. It has a lot of vehicle fires, fires started by people driving the interstate and fire caused by the railroad (generally caused by hot brake shoe pieces) as well as Hwy 138 related fires and fires on the National Forests near Mormon Rocks. They also roll to the east end of the Angeles NF. The next engine as far as responses is Engine 312 on the Angeles NF stationed at Oak Flat, on old U.S. Hwy 99. Interstate 5's heavy traffic, recreation use on western end of the forest and some responses on the east side of the Los Padres NF give it the response volume. It doesn't have a railroad route, but does have the heavily used Pyramid Lake area.

Awesome dude I plan on next week or here within 2 weeks going to fire station 311 catching some responses so be on the lookout. I would go to my neighborhood fire station 312 but I have a better chance at catching a footage of 311.

I wonder why there was so many San Manuel chiefs? I wonder if Redlands was covering their chief's? At 6:40, some people don't pay attention when driving.
