I'm so unbelievable sad that I never got to watch these guys until they were already disbanded for years. Breaks my heart that I'll never get to interact with the community in its prime 😢

I watched them very, very early on. I found them wayyyy way back on fucking Machinima back in the day where they played Kirby recording a TV with a camera. Them and their community will always be very formative to my humor and interests nowadays...I miss those times. I'll always miss the shit storm of scariness every October.

It's wild for me, a person who found them like, literally 3 days before the breakup, to hear a person say "It's been YEARS since they disbanded". Because for me, it *still* feels like I've just discovered them. But no. It's been *years* for me. Even *MORE* years for them.

To be fair, I think the community largely is unchanged from two best friends to Castle super beast. It's only splintered though to what the individual members used to bring to the channel and are now doing separately

57:38 has to be my favorite moment. Pat's delivery of the line with Matt literally dying of laughter in the background is an absolutely magical combination. ... God, I miss these guys.

It's really a shame. Pat in particular seems so much worse now, it's like 20% gameplay, 40% random boring filler talk with chat and 40% arguing with literally everyone.

In an alternate timeline, the Best Friends decided to post a channel update instead of FINAL stating they'd do playthroughs together less often. RE8 with these two would have been amazing.

im kinda glad, if they were getting on each other's nerves, that they didn't push it too far for too long i recall a few partners in entertainment where they held it together while they fought extensively in the background and when you learn this was the case you can see all the passive aggressive shit they did in their work or when the public could see. which really taints even the work they did when they got along because you always wonder when the resentment started.

Gonna ignore the other DLCs, even the incredibly wrong "Chris", and focus on HOW FUCKING COOL JOE IS. He was apparently just was chilling out in the swamp while the entire game was going on and missed it, and showed up to grab the inexplicably anime princess lookin' Zow and then goes on to wrestle zombie crocodiles and throw tree trunks through mold men before *fist fighting Jack with a power glove*. Just straight power bombing him and talking shit through the entire boss fight about how Jack is a huge pussy. And he seemingly has only the slightest idea about what is going on. I want him in Resi 9, just as homeless and confused as ever.
