I am having same situation as u. As I am selected for Deputy Manager, I am planning to join it leaving private MNC and sacrificing high salary. In any Govt u should not consider only the salary part. If you are money minded anyday u can earn more in private only. In Govt people looks for stability, security and work life balance as main priority. In sbi if u are selected for DM then CTC will be 20 lpa. But in hand will be approx 85-90 k including all the monthly allowances. At the end of the day it's people choice to stick to private or go to govt
