Hi Ashhar. I am looking for to when my radio gets gets here. This is so awesome. Can the digital modes be used without the speaker audio being on? If so do we just turn it down?

turn down side tone volume that what i do i have mine set on 5 ..jeff

Very interesting and the self contained aspect is a really nice feature. Does it run digital modes such as FT8 at 25 watts or just SSB? Can you use JS8Call as well? I will have to read your specifications/manual for more info. Thanks and happy new year! 73 K5MGK Mark

it does all modes at equal power. the power drops to 20 watts at 14mhz and down to 10.watts at 28 mhz.

Great product. One thing that is not entirely clear to me is how this scales. It seems to me that airwaves are not the same as laying one more fiber optic cable. So how do you see this product scaling if we get a billion people ;-) on the airwaves. Are you inviting the tragedy of the commons? Sure regulators can limit bands is this what all the hams want? Why not actually learn a lot and then use this in a limited way. Which everyone finds useful... looking forward to comments if I am completelly wrong or... Great product though.
