Following a recent shoulder surgery, this homeowner said “YOU CAN’T BEAT FREE!”

I was doing some work in this neighborhood when I came across this house that had some of the dirtiest front steps I’ve ever seen. The whole driveway and walkways were super dirty as well so I offered to clean it for the homeowner. He told me that he has a pressure washer but hasn’t had the chance to clean it due to a recent shoulder surgery. I had to do a little bit of convincing but he ended telling me he would love for me to do the work. So I got started and spent WAY more time than I was expecting here but the result was totally worth it so be sure to stay til the very end of this video to see the before and after pictures and the homeowners reaction to the work.

Love how he "argued" and said you should go do someone else's property. Adding the "I have a pressure washer", that has obviously never been used. Just accept the help Spencer offers and stop with all the drama! That's a huge lot he did! Looks awesome as always.

I'm going to play devils advocate here. I see where the home owner is coming from, he has the means, the physical ability (post surgery physiotherapy) and i daresay the means to pay someone if push came to shove. I'd be the same. certainly hesitant (not withstanding the fact that a complete stranger is offering to do, I surmise $1000+ of pressure washing for free), as there are people out there who dont necessarily have the pressure washer, the physical ability or the means to pay someone to do the work.

You always do an amazing job, but there is a question I have to ask. Are all driveway and sidewalks poured, and the framing boards left in? Maybe it's a deep south thing? I'm from Virginia, and the expansion joints are all a type of fiber/foam or a rubber material.

He clearly had a pressure washer, he just didn't use it on the walk or drive. His porches were good and clean. But I know when it gets rainy he'll appreciate not having that algae being all slick and hazardous. You do not want a slip and fall after a shoulder surgery.

a FREE tip ... use your lief blower to move the puddles of water off the sidewalk - patio - or driveway ! its faster n easier then trying to move it with a broom !

I noticed this homeowner's gate needs a new paint job and now I would love to see his wooden fence power washed, too. Would you ever consider also washing a wood fence?
