@@emberdt7998 They can be fired, but they wont fire you over legitimate RP that betters the server. All the times Baas messed around, it was with RP in mind and created amazing arcs for the entire city. Andrews is an exception as he is HC and runs the PD, him being SBS is almost the equivalent to Koil being SBS. AJ wouldn't get fired because there are legitimate RP reasons behind what he's doing. Him and Copper have been through a lot and it makes sense in his arc to stick up for her in this way. If he did it as some cadet just to do it, he'd be fired. They typically won't punish you for good RP unless it is something that is inexcusable.

He's right though. Insulting and disagreeing with a judge when not in an actual court session isn't contempt. Judges aren't immune to reproach when it doesn't interfere with the court.

Maybe, but cops certainly don’t have impunity to threaten to kill and shoot a judge in a court room…followed by actually attacking and shooting him. if koil is serious about making the server realistic then aj would lose his job over it.

Then the lawyer with a gun in the court house is crazy and why does the judge have a sledgehammer?? Their is a lot of wtf in this whole scenario. lol. You can’t contempt of court because your speaking to a judge and they don’t like what your saying. Court was not in session. So there isn’t any maybe.. the other officers should of been smart enough to know his orders meant nothing.

I wouldn't consider this as "SBS". You'd have to consider AJ's lore and how much him and copper have been through over the years, especially with copper being the one who essentially "boosted" him to become trooper. What I'm trying to say is this is a logical thing for AJ to do, it's like telling Randy your going to kill K, retaliation would be expected. Or sumn like that 🤷🏽‍♂️

If Aj gets a good enough lawyer, he could get off this Scott free lol. All he did was throw a punch and the judge responded w a lethal weapon. Then attempted to hit AJ when he was down from the taze hitting another officer w a sledgehammer. A good enough lawyer could argue attempted murder on the judge AND the lawyer considering they decided to play hero w several cops present. Good court RP should hopefully come from this.

No, he punched a judge and tried to get away from cops who were ordered by a judge to arrest for contempt. But he’ll likely just be in for Assault. But since the judge was running away, he could get attempted murder but the current testimony are against him. The judge could also get off scott free if his lawyer can prove it was self defence. But since AJ was tazed this is unlikely. The lawyer who shot depends on both other convictions. It’s a complete legal mess and I really wanna see what will happen.

Assault, evading arrest, contempt, attempt of murder, attempt murder of a state agent, at least 3x threats, false relatory would characterize "false report"... He should, AT LEAST, lose his job. + judge could argue, since AJ thretened him in the courtroom, that when he came back he was trying to kill him and he feared for his life. All could be proven by "court cctv" which should make it possible to review the vod and prove everything.

Was watching this last night judge 100% deserved it wish you'd started the clip a little earlier. The judge threw out their case because a random lawyer showed up and said they never called him for the guy they were trying to put in jail when he wasn't even on and they had phone records from trying to call all 5 lawyers that were on when they arrested him. Then the judge started threatening cops saying they were all corrupt and saying he would arrest Copper randomly after.

It's not AJ was 100% in the right here and probably won't face consequences contempt is interfering with or preventing a court case from proceeding; the judge also literally hit ANOTHER cop with the hammer. He could probably also sue the random lawyer who shot him (who is also the random lawyer who showed up and lied about being online when Hutch was arrested to get their case thrown out for not getting him a lawyer).

Lawyer AJ talked to said it's 100% not contempt of court and he would fight it if he's AJ's attorney. He also said that "tripping" and "accidentally striking" a judge (which is what AJ said happened) would be easily "proven" and dealt with in court. As for AJ shooting him, the judge swung a hammer at an officer who was incapacitated by a taser, striking another officer. That's assault of a LEO and assault with a deadly, which gave AJ full legality to use lethal force. Pretty much, yeah the judge is fuckin dumb and if he presses charges nothing will happen.

Realistically all three of them should be fired. AJ for assaulting the judge/threatening to kill him, the judge for hitting the police officer with a sledgehammer, and the lawyer for shooting AJ. That likely won’t happen though, and I wouldn’t want it to.

Did some research on Assault charges- Simple assault like punching, shoving, etc is only a misdemeanor and max sentence can be 6 months in jail + judge cannot increase it further on one charge. Aggravated assault (meaning assault with intent to kill) is usually a felony and can go basically anywhere from 24 hours in jail to infinite since life was at risk. @@yeetingcats but in what instance does a cop whip out shackles during a arrest? it should be ruled that you have to obey the arrest unless group actions show possibility for escape. just like how demands during robberies are forced and meant to be followed. its basic common sense, and either in the SOP's for the PD (in regards to the demands) or server rules. (havent read them myself but ratedepicz has talked about it on stream and lily pond got in trouble for failing to follow them, along with other things.)
