Actually, 2NE1 was trying to interact with other idols backstage and unseenly but the idols are the ones are keeping distance from the girls. They know YG is like a strict camp. Even Sung Shi kyung and other seniors told that when 2NE1 said hi to them, they was afraid if they get excited and don't know what to do so they just smile and walk away. Probably, the girls realised it and just keep to themselves.

The truth is 2NE1 are shy when it comes to like this. Even in Inkigayo they are always at the far end. All that matters to them is to perform but all this is making them feel awkward.. That's also the reason why they REJECTED TONS OF PROJECTS especially variety shows! Heard about they rejected the running man? Well they said they are too shy and they are afraid they will ruin the show.. :)

I agree with you. I wish they could say more in English. But one reason they are speaking in Korean is that the concert was being recorded for a TV show which will be broadcasted in Korea. Also, some are more comfortable speaking Korean and know that some members of the audience can understand.
