Gary has talent in comedy, he opens a path for Ji-Hyo to say something and be funny on that interaction. Gary gave the best assist on most Ji-Hyo jokes in RM because Gary the one who opened a path for their interaction first. Now look at RM members right now. LKS and YJS initiate most of the jokes for other members to join the jokes but LKS is best matched with YJS, Haha, Somin, and KJK. So does YJS with JSJ as an addition. While SJH/Ji-Hyo rarely talk if there is no one open a path for her to do a jokes. Only Gary did that in the past for most of the time. That's why months ago, RM tried SJH & KJK loveline but honestly it feels too awkward for both of them. I think Haha can fill Gary place to initiate a jokes first to SJH for her to join in as a role of mischievous sibling of her.

I m a new watcher too. I actually started after seeing a new episode so I dont think they are less fun or anything but the old years was sooooo real natural and didnt feel like awkward scripted. They did exgarate but that was all. We could see the pds the vjs the writers. So often n so naturally. Nowadays the times they appear is not like that. Then old eps also gave each n every member so much importance every member was give such a good screen time. In a good way

@@meghnabehera9875 omg i totally agree with you!! back then, the members were given more importance.. nowadays the episodes focus on the guests only. but i mean I can understand why it happens that way... they used to make childish remarks about each other, tease each other a lot and would go crazy whenever a beautiful female guest would appear. Now they can't do that because all of them are in the 30s/40s and most of them are in a relationship. Another thing I noticed was the high budget production they had back then, they would go to grand locations for every mission but now all of the missions take place at a single location... new episodes aren't that bad but it's just that watching the older episodes makes me happy

I remember crying when they aired his goodbye episode. I didn’t even watched RM for a while after he left (but glad I caught up). I am happy for him that he built his own little family and found happiness. In imo, he will highly not guest in RM anymore due to the fact that his image in RM is associated with MC. And there are still delulu MC shippers out there who are commenting on his IG to comeback to Jihyo. Like seriously? It is okay to reminisce the MC memories, but please don’t cross the line. When Gary left RM, I left RM too, and even till this day, I still don't come back to it. It's just not the same without him. To the new fans of Running Man, let me just tell you this : 1) When Gary was still a member, it was the Golden Era of Running Man and I will always call it that. If you don't believe me, then watch the old Running Man and you will see why. 2) This one is for the ARMYs because I saw a couple of Running Man videos got bombarded with ARMYs saying that how dare Running Man call themselves as "RM" when there is already an "RM" in BTS. To those people, I just wanna say, before Rap Monster changed to RM, people have been calling Running Man as "RM" first for ages, way longer before BTS became a hit. BTS even appeared on RM before and Rap Monster himself came on the show solo in one of the episodes and no one from both sides brought that up, it's just the fans who are fighting against each other. Actually even before gary left, runningman has gotten less and less interesting to watch as a whole. And when gary left, it just make it worse. Runningman with somin and sechan is more like season 2 of runningman. Runningman start to have different vibe and most importantly felt new. Closed minded people tend to hate it and open minded people tend love it. I'm glad I enjoyed it.

After his departure, I stop watching Running Man. It's not like I hate the current Running Man. It's just that a part of me left, and it was a big change. I watched them starting from episode 1, it just feels different without him. I felt so emotional watching this episode, I cried a lot. I just thought finishing the show was the best after Jongkook & Jihyo being kicked out of show scandal, and after Kwangsoo's emotional speech, I was ready for Running Man to get ended. Gary's departure is definitely one of if not the saddest moment in running man. I felt like running man lost something important after gary left. To be truthful I've stopped watching running man religiously after he left. Don't get me wrong the new members so min and se chan have their own charm but you know after 300+ episodes watching him, it's very hard not to see him anymore.

Everytime I rewatch episodes where all 7 of them work as a team, like that episode where Jaesuk stopped at 7 jumps during his jumping rope challenge - I get teary-eyed as a fan. Somin and Sechan are great addition to the members, no doubt about that. But I can't help but miss the original 7 with Gary. And of course, Monday Couple moments 😭💕 I wish Gary will guest soon. To those of us who watched RM from ep1, it was really heartbreaking to know of his departure. This episode and the next were the hardest for me especially. Cos we're used to seeing all of them together. But seeing how well Gary is doing now, how he left to focus on his career and wellbeing, also the adorableness of Haoh, I think he is at the right path. RM is still funny today and will always be funny and I hope SBS will focus more on the wellbeing of team members and staff too.

Come back from kwang soo leave. Idk what to expect, I grow up watching this two hyungs laugh and smile. But now two of my favourite members leave. I remember the time when the term "monday couple" exist. Then, the episode when ji hyo unnie said she really adore kwang soo. Really... they two that made me laugh everyday but now I'm sobbing in my bed...cannot sleep cuz I reminded the two of you.

I only started watching RM since last year, if this 12 minute video go me to bawl my eyes out, especially considering the fact we get to see him in TROS, imagine someone who had been with them since the very beginning in 2010, when the show was barely known, when the cast were just boys and a pretty actress. Who would've thought they could run this long? To be so popular not just in Korea but enjoyed by people around the world. The fans who have been with them since that first episode, they had to experience saying goodbye to the old cast, getting used to the new, watch clips go viral, celebrate RM achievements and witness members grow old and begin new chapters in their lives. Especially with the 10 year anniversary that marks the end of an era, I truly wonder how they feel.

The fact that he lasted for more than 7 years, is very respectable. A great milestone and achievement. He did a good job even though he didnt enter the industry as a variety show member but as a musician. I highly believe what made him last that long is because of the members and how they treat each other like family. And I think Gary knew there is a right time to give it up. And even though the members and some other people thought that it would last more longer; he knew it was the right time. Respect.

This was the first time i cry because of RM, the second was when I heard about the final episode. I still remember, I was out of class at night when I read that news, after that I just sat in my car crying and trying to keep myself calm for 30mins, then came back home, went to the restroom and cried again.
