She's spent, what, nearly 10 years basically being under utilized and under appreciated in SNSD? She had huge potential as a trainee, everyone thought she'd do big things in dance, and her role in SNSD was planned to be quite central to the group, as the ITNW concept was a sort of girl power concept with pwerful dances, that was meant to be their thing. But then she debuted, and SNSD started going the cute route with their concept instead, and Hyo got called ugly and untalented. I admire how patient and strong she has been rly, I mean it's probably comforting that she made bank with SNSD even though she didn't go the pathway she probably expected, but still.

Sophi Sone I agree with that SNSD did cutesy songs but that wasn't the only part of their image that's always been a gross misconception with them. SNSD is know for doing many different concepts that's why they have been able to adapt all these years. SM didn't under use her she was one of their most popular trainees, the public didn't accept her cause they felt like she wasn't pretty enough. But SM always made sure she got her shine where her talents were which was dance As far as the cute thing goes that's just a Korean thing they usually prefer cute concepts, unless you go full badass like 2NE1

Just for anyone wondering, this "solo" is a fan count. They are seeing how businesses, and fans take her as a solo artist, and if they can actually release her as her own during snsd hiatus. Yuri has a giant fanbase, and with the "role" she plays her sales as a solo artist are confident enough that she won't put them behind, while hyoyeon is more obscure since she seems to have gotten a spike in following and fans overall.. Honestly I'm wondering if the girls are gonna split into mini groups throughout the year and they're seeing which girls can go solo.. because rumor has it sunny is gonna do some solo stuff as well in 2017 in the studio.

this camera man his good work he focuses on the singer shows the close ups and even give a sensual vibe that follows the singers dances i like that it moves to the song but doesnt over do it and add so much effect and doesnt consistantly pane out to far that u cant focus on the singers face and dance. its just the right range. Others for example in MMA and MAMA paned out so far u couldnt see the face and only made u focus on the dance. but when u tried to focus on the dance they would quickly change angle and pan out to far and sho the top view of the dance routine as well as random angles that didnt let u focus on the singer or dance. i hate that i hate when they start going crazy they begin to do to much effect it gives me a headache with the consistant changes of camera angles this was slow and nice letting u have enough time to adjust i loved how he also or she the camera person focused on the feet work as well very nice. GREAT JOB They need to hire more people like that !

I think this is my fave outfit because you can see her face and therefore her facial expressions.
