I love how they explain the real reason why they're so popular and different from other groups. It's not just dancing or the looks, it's because they're sharing a message through their music that relates to struggles of people around the world. There aren't really any other artists in Kpop (or even in the music industry as a whole) that talk about serious issues they face like BTS does. We understand so much from them by reading their lyrics like how yoongi suffers with social anxiety in "The Last" or how their company and group struggled in the beginning in the song "sea". Not a lot of artists use this opportunity to speak messages that have meaning, which is what makes BTS so different

They help me to connect with my daughters that are teenagers trough their music, shows, lives, programs and them being themselves. Even if it has only been 5 years, I feel like I grew up into my Young Adulthood with BTS. And nothing's gonna stop me from continue growing with them. Times when my friends didn't understand, times when my parents didn't understand, BTS understood. Just flipping them on every chance I get makes me feel really, happy. Cause it's people that understand what I'm going through at this time in life in this century. When HYYH Series came up, I started bawling my eyes out. I'm not Korean so I wasn't able to follow their journey from the start but HYYH era really made an impact on me and I've been loving them ever since. And to be honest I wasn't really into Kpop. Only BTS. The amount of negativity fans receives, specially in a country where the GP strongly believes looking good and talented is gay. Every boy group are mocked and labeled as "Gay". Yes, In my country people still uses "Gay" as an insult. It was really hard finding friends to share my love for BTS. Thank god we have Twitter. I'm 26 and I suffer from depression and anxiety. BTS and Army really help me cope when I feel like giving up. BTS has used their platform to spread awareness and positivity in which many people found comfort in. In a world where is music is just about sex, drugs and money, there's BTS. BTS has saved many lives not just through music but also through their existence. Their kindness, passion, their humility. And so much more. Armys will forever love and support BTS and Bighit.

I'm from Malaysia and liking kpop is something that the people in my country always look down to. However, these days it seems like more people are accepting and i can see increasing amount of Malaysian ARMYs speaking up their admiration to these boys bc of the music and lyrics and also their personalities. Just like how i was drawn to BTS in the first place, their lyrics resonates and countless times have i achieved comfort just by listening to their songs. I hope people really listen to their music without prejudice and hate. I hope other people get comforted too and maybe lessen their pain or struggles in daily life. @@StellasLive compare this year to any previous year and koreans' outlook of bts is positive and bts' presence is known by non kpop fans in korea. because bts has become the representative of korea and visibly acknowledged and supported by government and president, k-media treatment to bts this year is totally different from the past. if k-media was overall negative, then the public would not see bts in their current light. the public while not directly watching bts' UN speech, etc. still know about it. i'd say k-media did enough justice for bts this year given that fact that bts is known by the public unlike previous years. public is also more open to speak about bts as opposed to past where they are embarrassed to talk about kpop groups. public seems to have some pride in bts now even though they do not listen to kpop unlike past years.

Whoever u anyone who involve in making this video TQ so much, its really means a lot for us, you really justified the reason behind we become fan, their music really resonate with our life actually. Its not because of face but MUSIC, for us face is only bonus. Their music, hardwork and passion to spread positivity really make us trapped as an ARMY and were staying loyal to them. Will always love them, i've always find a deep place inside BTS music when i want release my pent up emotion. Not really that, there is no single music in BTS that sound the same, only the message were the same to spread love and spread more korean culture to whole over the world. I want to say a lot but one more thing, KOREA were trully blessed to have them as an artist, and tq for giving them the merit award. Love from Malaysia, borahae BTS 💜💜💜💜💜💜💜

This mini documentary really explains the hardships and the history of Bangtan along with ARMY, I'm really thankful with SBS for taking the time to do the proper research and produce this, I hope many non fan's will see this and understand the power of BTS and their music, they're really making this world a better and more positive place.

Sandra Selin I didnt like them too. So I understand you. I never hated them cuz spreading hate just mean I am jealous and have no work to do but waste time on someone's success! So I gave myself a chance to know them. I really liked their MV fire and I became army little by little.

This is why I can't stand the people who say bts are overrated when they know absolutely nothing about them and what they've done to get where they are. I also can't stand the people who do know yet refuse to accept they aren't overrated because they downright hate that someone hardworking and talented is successful. The people that say "I'm an army but I have to admit they're overrated," you must not know bts as well as you think you do.

I'm so done if ever ppl comes up with the msg over rated. Ppl can say bts music is not the one for them not their cup of tea. Then fine that's their opinion anyway. Buy why throw up the word over rated .... if ppl fail to appreciate music then move on to music preference they enjoy. Those judgement is unnecessary to do so. What's wrong to keep mutual respect to artist even ppl dislike their music? Well I don't understand n I don't think I ll waste my time to figure it out bcs my focus on BTS only. Life too short for negativity not worth it
