Years ago, ZUN's site had a page called "東方幻想的音楽", where MIDI files made for the Roland SC-88Pro could be downloaded for free. Between 1999 and 2001, ZUN posted arrange versions of many PC-98 Touhou Project tracks and arranged the entire Seihou Shuusou Gyoku OST. He also posted the Torte Le Magic OST and 6 tracks known as "ZUN's Strange Works". They only sound as intended on this module.
The PC-98 arrangements include select tracks from 東方靈異伝 ～ The Highly Responsive to Prayers (Touhou 1), 東方封魔録 ～ the Story of Eastern Wonderland (Touhou 2), 東方夢時空 ～ Phantasmagoria of Dim.Dream (Touhou 3), 東方幻想郷 ～ Lotus Land Story (Touhou 4) and 東方怪綺談 ～ Mystic Square (Touhou 5). Please don't call these "remix" or "remastered". These words don't mean what you think they do!

This is "Witch of Love Potion" from Torte Le Magic.
This time, I was going to write a song of STG with Torte as a hero. Although I was very happy, until now, because I only wrote songs of dark, minor tone, I was under considerable anxiety ... (^^;
So I tried to research variously on what to do. Changing from classical instruments to the synth instruments, or try increasing the major, and I tried to experiment with various chord progression. (guinea pig (^ ^;;)
But the result is still not bright. What is this, it must be because of the melody right? For having been composing songs for eight years as a hobby, it seems like such miniscule effort cannot change how I work (^ ^;
Well, I'm going to take pride that I have made it very fancily (^ ^)

今回、トルテが主人公のＳＴＧの曲を書く事になりました。すごく嬉しかったんですが、 いままで、短調系の暗～い曲ばっかりの私だったので、かなりの不安が...(^^;
で、どうしたもんか色々と研究してみました。 楽器をクラシカルなものからシンセ系に変えて、長調を増やしてみたり、コード進行を 色々実験してみました。（って、実験台(^^;;）
結果、でも明るくない。 これって、やっぱメロディのせい？（そのとおり） 趣味で作曲して、はや８年ほど。こればっかしは、今更変えられないなぁ～(^^;;
まぁ、結構派手に創ったつもりで、なかなかお気に入り(^^)

STG with Torte as a hero? OK, that settles it. I'm making my own STG with Cyborg as a hero. Except should it be vertically scrolling like Touhou or horizontally scrolling like what PoDD was originally going to be? If the former, I want Hisoutensoku styled sprites for some reason. Actually, Hisoutensoku sprites for the horizontally scrolling shooting game I guess?
