Reminds me of the days when I'd hunt them mountain hollers of the great Ozarks with my friend Jay and his boys! Loved to hear the hounds running a deer. Awesome memories stored away that I cherish. Jays passed away but every time I hear someone's dogs kick up a deer, my mind goes back to those days hunting deer with my friend Jay!! Great video!!👍

Great hunt thanks for sharing it. I was invited to dog hunt in VA by a friend this season, and am planning to do it every season if im able. Hunting with the dogs was one of the best hunting experiences ive ever had, and was fortunate to kill on the second day of the hunt.

It's just what SCDNR allows. When it becomes illegal, we will stop. We do have to be more aware of what is going on. You can hear a car coming from a mile away. Even the electric cars you can hear the tires before you see them. Thanks for watching.

Some states have different regulations....sometimes counties have different regulations than the state. It's actually better to be able to send in the ditch or bank and shoot INTO the woods vs being 100 yds in the woods and get your directions confused or not realize how much a road curves ect. But you just have to follow your local regs. And use some common sense and self restraint. Sometimes you just don't have a save shot and you gotta pass. It's just part of the hunt.

We have people that run houds and shoot rifles-not sure that is safe either unless they are up a tree shooting down at an angle.

I do like the Beagles though. They stir out a lot of deer. Walkers are great dogs, but push dear around here so hard that they are a blur when they hit a road or trail where the standers are located.

We have standers and drivers. The drivers walk the woods and jump the deer and get the dogs started. The standers stay on their stand. Our laws may differ from your state.

Actually a lot of people find this fun. They find joy in the fact that the dog they have trained since it was a puppy will run the deer. If you have never done it yourself you shouldn't really knock it. I understand people have their own opinions. People putting down others traditions and possibly the only way they maybe able to hunt is what sucks the joy and fun out of it. Thanks for at least watching.

We never have done that. I know they do that up north. We take them to our skinning shed and put the meat straight into the cooler. The entrails we have a hole we dump those in.

@@teamscruboak7566 I’m from Wi early season bow hunting is hard. Most of us don’t have cooler space. We clean the entrails right away to help cool them off.

We hunt the highway also. Vehicles are a much bigger danger to us than we are to them! No way I would shoot with a vehicle coming, I've dang sure seen hounds ran over by them though.
